This is a great pharmacy to go to if you like having your prescriptions lost, or watching shouting matches between staff in the prescription filling area and the local customers.nnI can count on one hand, the number of times I’ve seen customers go to pick up medication and it’s ready and properly filled. Even then pharmacists look miserable and talk to you in such a patronizing and condescending way when you’re paying to come there for help!nnFor myself, it’s been months and months of painful conversations with the staff - things that one wouldn’t even imagine to be an issue in a competent pharmacy. It’s definitely time to leave this location. Good riddance to a store with such unkind, unhelpful, excuse-ridden service.nnThe owner is either absent, unresponsive or lazy and can’t even properly defend the mistakes made by his staff. Never again will I shop here.

I’ve been with this pharmacy for 5 years and I finally switched today to across the street at the independent pharmacy remedy rx where they are actually helpful and friendly. The staff at this shoppers pharmacy are so rude for no reason. Debbie in particular has a bad attitude and has been mean and rude to me several times just for asking simple questions, and whoever the guy I talked to today about transferring my file mocked me and the way I spoke on the phone. They’re also not ever able to figure out my insurance which should be a very basic task for a pharmacy. Do not recommend.

I don’t get prescriptions here so this review is based solely on the non-pharmacy details!nnWow, I’ve been to A LOT of Shoppers around the Ottawa & surrounding area and I love the set up of this one. Everything is in beautiful sections that are LABELLED! Like it even has a “stationary” section.nnTruly love visiting here when I am out this way and will continue too. The makeup counter staff is very helpful they even searched the system to see if they could track me down a Dyson hair tool! and the beauty section is well displayed!nn*HUGE electronics section: great for points days!

The pharmacist is the most ignorant unsympathetic human being I’ve ever heard of. I’m writing this review on behalf of my wife’s experience. We have a prescription for formula that is hard to find all over Ottawa. We have been tracking it at all the different shoppers in Ottawa and found some boxes in stock at Themis pharmacy. My wife called yesterday to fill the prescription. Last night, we called again and the prescription was in queue and were told to call again this morning when the pharmacist was in. My father in law decided to go into the store to see if it was available and the pharmacist told him it was not ready, so my wife called him and explained the situation. Mid-sentence, this ignorant pharmacist cut her off and blatantly lied to her saying they had no boxes of this formula in store after the fact that he charged my father in law for a 6 pack of the formula. My wife gave him the item number to look up and he once again lied to her saying they were out of stock. Then my father in law, who was still in the store went the formula aisle and found 3 boxes of it and pointed it out to him. He still refused to fill the prescription, because he didn’t know how to do it on the computer. My wife told him to call another shoppers that we dealt with and they would explain the process of how to do it, he never did and continued to be ignorant towards my wife. He actually hung up on my wife, because she was getting frustrated by this point because he was belittling her and continued to be ignorant. We didn’t end up getting formula and still are looking around for it. I just can’t believe Shoppers drug mart, would hire a human being who refuses to fill a prescription for a baby who needs formula, and lie to people because they are too lazy to do it on the computer. I hope no one else ever experiences this type of customer service

Usually a great pharmacy but today is a very different case.nI have been a patient here for years but lately have been going to a closer pharmacy.nMyself and the pharmacy have been trying to reach ANYONE at Shoppers for the last 2hrs35minsnAnd not a single person has answered the phonenWe’ve even faxed them explaining how urgent the situation isnand nothingnIncredibly unprofessional and disappointingnIf this does get worked out it means I have to go without a SERIOUS medication for two daysnAbsolutely disgraceful
