Shoppers Drug Mart

First of all, Angie and all the ladies in the cosmetics department are wonderful! I'm an avid Shoppers Drug mart shopper and I love seeing their smiling faces when I come in. My low rating is due to the horrible interaction I had with Patty the cashier manager at the other end of the store. She was incredibly rude....to the point of me never wanting to shop at your store again. I have heard others comment on the poor customer service regarding her. Five stars for the cosmetics department. Sadly, one star for the front end.

Pharmacy is the slowest service ever. Ive never waited less than 5-10 minutes for service there. And that means 5-10 minutes before the pharmacists even acknowledge that you exist. You guys could at least pretend to care about your customers.

Im taking this moment to write about our customer service interaction yesterday February 11th with Patty the cashier manager. Patty obviously doesn't know the return policy. I'm taking the time to write you because I've been in the business of customer service for 35 years. Patty was rude from the start. This type of customer service interaction will impact your business and you won't realize it's going on until its to late. Her body language, approach and ability to deal with the return policy was atrocious to the point where you (Roy) had to personally deal with the situation. Honestly, it was a routine customer service return that could have potentially cost your business thousands in lost sales per year and you wouldn't know why. Guess what, thats only the one you know about, I also would be very worried about the ones I don't know about? Patty immediately switched her demeaner (like a light switch) when she wouldn't exchange the product to verbally stating that "she doesn't have to deal with this", then she proceeded to walk over to Pharmacy to let you deal with the situation (Roy)…..expecting us to follow her I guess? My wife and I just looked at each other a couldn't believe this was going on as we're both in our late 40's early 50's. This type of employee is very toxic to the retail environment when we consider growing a business. As you know, without the customer, we have no business! It should be the pinnacle element of one's focus. Personally I would be very concerned having a employee like her.

Pharmacy is the BEST. They really look after your big picture if you have a lot of meds.
