I went into shoppers looking for new skincare products face wash,nMoisturizer and a face scrub. I needed something that was sensitive and was dermatologist approved because of my history with skin cancer. I arrived and was immediately acknowledged by the friendly staff and cosmetic manager Cara when I walked in. Cara saw I was looking at skin care and  came over to help me. I told her mynIssues and she was so helpful to show me the skincare lines. After going through the products and her recommendation I purchased face wash, face scrub and a moisturizer. I was so happy that someone took the time and helped me. I love the products she recommended I even went back to get more as I’m now out. Thank you Cara for your knowledge and taking your time to show me! Much appreciated!! It’s hard to find excellent sales and customer service these days!!! If you need anything go to Cara at shoppers drug mart.

Has gone way way downhill since new pharmacy owner took over.  When Daniel owned this location, the pharmacy was top notch.  Have been using this location for my prescriptions for many years now. After many errors and many many delays on prescriptions being filled, I have finally given them their last chance.  Several months ago I was given pills that were 2.5 times my regular dose strength that I have been taking for years. Luckily I noticed when I went to take the pills that they were a different colour.  Several times I have gone to pick up my medication many hours after visiting my doctor and it wasn’t ready. Tonight my husband went to pick up my medication at 11:30 pm as I had forgotten to earlier in the day.  When I opened the bag there was only one bottle and should have been two……as two different strengths of the same medication are required for my dosage. I called to advise them that I had only received one of the two bottles and had to explain this several times. The pharmacist didn’t seem to have any idea whatsoever what I was talking about even after looking at my file on the computer regarding the combination of two different strengths of the same medication. He said yes, the 75 mg are on your file.  So again, for a third time, I advised I did not receive that bottle.  I THINK he finally understood me and just said very quickly “they’ll be ready tomorrow”. No apology. No explanation.  I asked why this had happened and why I must now make a second trip to pick up my CORRECT medication and his response was “I have no idea”. Well that’s nice to hear from a “Pharmacist”.  I asked how I go about changing pharmacies, as that is now my intent after error after error on their part, and he mumbled a few words and then hung up on me. Great job Shoppers Drug Mart!  Unacceptable when you’re dealing with people’s medication!  Also extremely unfriendly staff overall in this pharmacy now.  Before new owner took over the people in the pharmacy were all quite friendly and helpful.  Not now!  New owner and all old staff gone…….not sure what happened there and why NONE of the previous staff are there, but I’m sure there’s a story there.    I WILL NOT be back.

Excellent experience getting my flu shot from pharmacist Maria Aslam! She was very kind and caring throughout the whole process. I accidentally had booked my appointment at the wrong location, but she went out of her way to help me out anyways : Will come back here next year!
