Shoppers Drug Mart

Had a major incident again with shoppers on Arthur St West this time with store Manager Michelle.nnI went in to post a bell phone and seen that the lady working was the Russian or Ukrainian lady that i had a previous issue with.worker I reported this to Michelle and head office at the time. The postal lady did not like me calling her out on her mistakes and overcharging me but rather than admit and just fix it she got rude and iriate and screamed at me to leave the store full blown meltdown she had.nnSo I go ask for the manager Michelle and I explain hey I've had an issue with that postal worker I'm sure you remember us talking about this before and I had also contacted head office about it. She looks at me goes what do you want very rudely I said I'd like for a witness to drop this off so theirs no confrontation. She took my package asked if it was just a drop off I said yes so I left. But I needed a receipt and that was my fault for not asking for one. So I go back inside and say hey sorry I actually need a receipt. Rather than her just say oh yes sure let me get that for you like a normal manager would do she rolls her eyes at me and says we'll you never asked for one I said we'll I need one for my record she then brings me down to the said girl I just said I wanted you to be present and smirks at the postal lady and then Michelle gives me a big smirk back and walks away. Then the other girl be trained gave me my receipt I said thank you and left.nnUpon speaking to some staff on the way out they told me her name and that she is a miserable manager she brings her personal drama into work and then takes it out on the good staff. Everytime I've seen her in the store she's always miserable never smiles never goes the extra mile for a customer she just sits in the office from what I'm told by her staff.nnThis lady Store Manager Michelle and that Russian or Ukraine lady need proper training. They need to be reminded on how to talk to customers properly and with respect as we are the ones who bring them business which gets them paid. What's the saying 1 bad review can spark alot of people from going back. Now if you read the Google reviews you'll see she has complaints before and isn't a very nice lady to talk to over the phone she will even hangup on people who just are telling her the truth. Comments speak for itself.nnThis manager comes of toxic and gave me bad vibes. I will be avoiding her at all costs like some of my friends colleague and family have had run ins with her. She doesn't follow up on complaints when she says she will and furthermore is just rude and stresses her staff out. Those employees have enough bs outside of work they don't need to be going to work and dealing with Michelle's bs. Please give these employees a raise cause they deserve it having to work with Michelle the store manager.nnMichelle if you read this shame on you. You can do better as a store manager lift your staff up don't put them down like you did me when all I asked for was help

Not overly quick when contacting your physician for refills of any kind. Most of the pharm techs who answer the phone are nice and respective, but there are a couple of people who can be snooty and short with you. I understand people have bad days, but you are customer service. If you don't like your job, go home and be miserable there.

Amazing staff! So helpful. I was far from home and ran out of my medications. The pharmacist on duty, and the staff, made multiple follow up calls to my regular pharmacy, without me asking, to help me get what I needed. The staff kept me informed all along. When my regular pharmacy didn't help, the pharmacist at this store told me I could get a week's supply from him on an emergency basis. He saved the day! Thanks to all for your amazing service

I am absolutely appalled at the treatment of nice customers in this store. A woman had asked the manager to help her with the electronics as per usual no staff were to be found, she was YELLING at the customer to go wait in the section for an employee. What a DISGUSTING vile attitude. And when I had come back to speak with upper management, I was yet again met with nasty rudeness by the cashier who was doing nothing else so I’m not sure why it was such an inconvenience for her. Whoever owns this store needs to teach the staff how to be friendly. Wow. I’m disgusted, worst attitude ever. If you don’t like your job, quit,

My family goes here to pick up their mail. They are Anishinaabe and suffered considerable levels of racism from the staff here while just trying to get service. When my family member presented his status card as ID to pick up mail, the caucasian male cashier demanded that he also present a welfare stub. My family member is not on welfare but is obviously Anishinaabe with dark skin. This is utterly unacceptable and racist behaviour from staff here. This happened a few days ago.
