Extremely Disappointed with Customer Service and Product QualitynnI had a very frustrating experience at Shoppers Drug Mart, especially at the cosmetics counter. I tried to return two dry eyebrow pencils and a lipstick that clearly weren't usable. The young girl at the cosmetics counter refused to help and sent me to the front register, saying the manager would handle it. When I got there, the manager told me I needed the barcodes and asked me to go back and find the same items on the shelves so they could scan them. I did exactly that—wasting more of my time—only for them to say the barcode on the lipstick “doesn’t show” and that they couldn’t return it after all.nnWhat was the point of sending me around the store if they had no intention or ability to process the return? Then they had the nerve to tell me to come back tomorrow morning—how am I supposed to leave work just to deal with this again?nnIn the end, I gave up and left the useless products and walked out without a refund. This isn’t the first time I’ve had problems at Shoppers. The discounted cosmetics they put on those middle tables are often expired or dried out and just don’t work. It's a total waste of money.nnLesson learned: Never buy cosmetics from the “sale” section. It’s just garbage. And don’t expect helpful customer service.nnEdited: I went back to them and the new manager changed my items and she was very nice that’s why I changed my rate from 1 to 3 stars but I still can’t forget the previous manager’s behaviour.
I love shoppers, don’t get me wrong; great deals, and usually have what I need in a pinch, late at night.nnLately, I’ve found this location, the staff are not educated and they’ve been left with too few staff on the night shift. This evening for example, I went in to purchase some chocolate, and ended up finding a chai latte mix I’ve never tried. It rang up wrong price, I asked the staff to help me, showed them the ticket and they agreed all matched and price was wrong. I asked about scanning code of conduct, and she informed me I got the first one at full price, and had to purchase a 2nd to see any discount 50% off. There are signs all over the store on what scanning code of practise/conduct is and that the store participates but the employees do not understand what it actually is or how it works.nnAnother time I went in for diapers - my kiddo is sensitive and can only use one brand. They did not have his size on the shelf so I asked for help, the employee informed me they only had 2 people working so they were unable to help me. It’s unfortunate that the staffing is so few especially at night when the teenagers working are at a greater risk considering this location is robbed often.
If you are looking for a store where nobody bothers you, where the staff never greet you or never say bye to you. Never ask if you need any help, you can just wander the aisles for hours without a single interruption to the point that you feel like you are invisible, this store is perfect for you.
Never had a chance to eat here. Drove 45 minutes to try it,Arrived 30 minutes before close, waitress said they were slow. I guess i don't count. Well i can see this place not lasting long with that service, guess why your slow maybe?
