Shoppers Drug Mart

I've been going to this pharmacy for the last 5 years. But for the last little while the service was terrible so I ended up changing pharmacy. I wasnt going to write a review but my gf who was still going there also has had similar bad experiences there lately so it seems to be a pattern. To sum it up, the staff is very unhelpful, ignorant and sometimes disrespectful. I highly suggest you seek other pharmacies. The other one I'm going to now has such better service.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this location on [date]. I was treated with disrespect and experienced what I perceived to be discriminatory behavior from two employees. As someone who works with DoorDash, I visit many stores regularly, but the way I was treated here was completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. When I asked to speak to the manager to file a complaint, I was shocked to discover that one of them was the manager herself. This kind of behavior, especially from someone in a leadership position, reflects poorly on the store and made me feel deeply unwelcome. There was clear discrimination in their treatment toward me, and I hope management takes this issue seriously. I would not recommend this store to others.”

I picked up my prescriptionnWhen I got home I checked the bottle my prescription said 90 pills and I only got 30 pills.nnSo I called the pharmacy to talk to the head pharmacies and she does not know what happened.nnBut the labe technique and pharmacies the filled my prescription both made a mistake which should not happen as there are working with people's healthnnI would like the pharmacies owner to contact me and explain why mistake happen at the pharmacy

A complete disaster! I stopped there tonight to purchase baby formula. It appears that every store has a different policy due to varying ownership. Some shoppers keep it behind the counter, while others display it on the shelf or store it in lockers. Consequently, I was unable to locate the specific formula in the locker. I approached the gentleman at the pickup section and inquired if the item was available “behind the counter.”nHe accompanied me to the locker and informed me that he would page a colleague to open it. I reiterated that the item was not in the locker, but he disregarded my request. I repeated that specific items are not stocked in the locker, but he continued to ignore me and returned behind the counter.nA lady then approached the locker and asked what I was looking for. I informed her that I had already notified your colleague, and the item was not available in the locker. She inquired about my search, and I clarified that I was looking for Similac Alimentum. To my surprise, she expressed unfamiliarity with the brand. I explained that other shoppers carry this specific formula. At that moment, she turned her back on me and abruptly departed. Her behavior was highly rude.nAnother associate then approached and clarified that some items are carried by certain shoppers while others are not. He was extremely helpful and courteous. To those associates who are unfamiliar with Similac Alimentum, I have included a photograph for reference.nI strongly advise against visiting this store.

My favourite pharmacy store.nLike the fact there's almost always a pretty and outgoing beautician welcoming me as I come in the store unless they're extremely busy, which they often are.nI always know what to expect here. Love using their point system. Also like the fact that I can get my flu shots here.nI also like the fact they have a self activating blood pressure machine conveniently located at the back of the store. Makes it very handy to check on my health anytime the store's open.nIt's also convenient that they have a post office at the back of the store as well.nWell-mannered staff that always seem willing to go out of their way to help their customers.
