I called the pharmacy this evening to speak to the pharmacist in hopes of trying to find out the proper name of a medication that a hospitalized family member has been put on so that I can learn more about it.nI told her what the medication was supposed to do and what it sounded like and she told me she couldn't help me with that and implied that I was trying to obtain personal information that I wasn't entitled to which makes no sense whatsoever.nI tried to explain to her that I just wondered if there was a medication that SOUNDED like what I told her that was used for this particular purpose but she just cut me off, accused me again of trying to obtain classified info the patient isn't even affiliated with them and I never even told her his name. THEN she refused to listen when I tried to clarify and hung up on me.nI have several recurring scripts here and I think this was the last straw. Time to leave.
I went to Shoppers the other day looking for a perfume that I used to wear in the 90's, that I still wear today, but I didn't think that they still made it. I was told by the beautician that yes they still make that perfume, but they hadn't had any in stock for a while, but if they did get some in that she would call me, so I gave her my number. That just made my day 100% That's what I call customer service
The pharmacy staff are kind, patient, and helpful. The owner of the pharmacy was really helpful and understanding and worked with me to find a way to split a prescription to make it most cost effective since I didn't have private insurance. Coming from the city, this has been such a nice change where I've felt pharmacy staff have been much less kind and accommodating.
Please watch your prices at the time of checkout or review your receipts closely from this location in Trenton. They do NOT always honour the offers or prices found on the Optimum App, specifically as marketed for Shoppers. They advised that they don't have to participate in every offer but rather can choose for themselves, it's a confusing practice to say the least for customers, with no way to know until you are at checkout and the price is wrong. So again even though the app shows a price for a product they may not honour it. People are hurting financially and look to shop where the best deals are and feasibly would use the app they promote within their store as a tool to do so. Be aware and watchful in Trenton Shoppers! Was not impressed with how this was communicated at the store level and has happened to me twice in the last two weeks.
I get my prescriptions done here. They sometimes have really good sales. There's a post office inside. Last time I went they didn't have what I wanted in stock but that's how it happens sometimes.
