Shoppers Drug Mart

A friend had a hip replacement and the hospital faxed the prescriptions to Shoppers Drug Mart in North Hill Shopping Centre. I came at 11:30 AM to pick up and was informed they would be ready at 4PM. I explained the prescriptions were for pain management and we didn’t want the pain to get away on him.nThey said 2PM. I was here just after 2PM and waited behind eight people to be told the meds still weren’t ready and come back in a couple of hours. Once again I explained about the pain management after surgery and he didn’t seem to care about that or my time. I wouldn’t even give this pharmacy one star if I could,nUncaring staff.nTerrible service.nLook at the previous reviews, you will see that this is consistent and not improving.

It's great that this Shoppers is open till midnight if you need something that you ran out of. Or if you need that last minute nail colouror make up. The ladies who work in the beauty department always help.

This store is a pathetic JOKE. The review saying that security breathes down your neck does not lie. Security followed my girlfriend around the store at about 10pm last night making her uncomfortable as she was peacefully looking at nail polish. Somalian looking security guard did this throughout the entire time we were there and walking past him, I checked him and said she’s not stealing you need to check yourself and stop making her uncomfortable and he murmured under his breath walking away. This went on for about 15-20 minutes and as we were leaving the store he tries to be petty laughing and waving as if to say good riddance, so he was kindly flipped off God-given right as we left and everything had been paid for. Then this absolute shameless of a human comes rushing out of the store and into the parking lot to confront me face to face as I was entering my car, acting like he was gonna try to do something physically to try to harm me. Mind you I happily train in martial arts but I’m not stupid, your actions have consequences for laying hands on a person first, so I kindly invited him to do something because if he were to lay hands on me first, that is his way of inviting me to defend myself and I will gladly take him and the security company to court for it, once it’s all said and done. This shoppers drug mart location seriously needs to deal with this burden child and remind him that he is not police, he is a RENT-A-COP.

0 stars! Staff at the pharmacy is terrible! I have been coming here for years and each year it is worse. I periodically go to different pharmacies and this one is by far the worst. Customer service is not existent and they don’t care about the people they are there to help. It must only be the dregs of pharmacy staff that would work in the place. The culture overall is horrible.

Fancy immunization booking tool online.nSadly it is uncorrelated to stock available at the facilities.nSo when you show up on time for your appointment, you may or may not get your shot.nI suspect the staff at the facility are to blame for not bothering to have stock for booked appointments.nAdding insult to incompetent management, the staff was fantastically dismissive and rude. They couldn't have cared less for not being able to hold up their end of the appointment bargain.nnNot sure why I'm surprised. It is not my first time encountering this very scenario with Shoppers.
