The owner and staff some of the most accommodating, sincere, and wonderful people. Fantastic food, great service, and an awesome atmosphere that just makes you feel at home. A great place for a cold beer, to watch a game, to hang out with friends or family, and just an all around great place to be. A modern day Cheers, but above ground
Always a great meal here. The fried pickles are especially good, they have fried peppers in there too. This time we were there to try the pizza and were not disappointed. Very thin crust - too thin to hold up a lot of toppings - but I like that. Great flavor, not too crispy. I had the bbq, steak and caramelized onions pizza - yum!! 10/10 for that pizza! My boyfriend had the small farmers market pizza. It looked like it tasted great and has lots of cheese, but it just needs a little more crust support. The toppings were falling all over the place. The small pizza is a great size for one person, but I recommend just going for the large and having leftovers. : They have a relatively small beer list, but what they do have use very well curated. A lot of good, local brews and recent releases. Service is friendly, but can be slow sometimes. They are well spaced out for Covid safety, but we did have a few people come in and try to sit too close to us at the bar and they would have to come and correct the seating. Next time we'll grab a table. I hope they bring back brunch eventually, because those bacon jam egg sandwiches were so good, and I never had a chance to get the steak and eggs.
They have the NFL Ticket so I stopped by to watch a game. First time there. Really nice decor. They used a lot of things from the old Indian Head Sports that was located there before. My table was near the kitchen so I saw many entrees go by. Their pizza looks great. I had a Greek wrap with fries which was good Nice selection of local craft beers on tap. Service was attentive. I'll be back
Brought our granddaughter to the Jojo Siwa concert so grandma, Auntie, mom & Jala came to shoppers before the show. They have a modified menu in event nights so the kitchen can keep up. I had a lake Ave burger, gram had a meatball sub, Auntie a lake Ave burger mom chicken tenders & Jala had a grilled cheese and mozzarella sticks. Our server Nick, recommended a Winnie amber gram and auntie had margaritas mom and Jala had Shirley Temples. Everything was great drinks and food came out fairly quickly considering the packed house of Jojo fans and moms. We’ll be back on a more normal night.
This review combines our first and second visit experiences. First visit we definitely thought we’d return, really enjoyed the generous drink pours and the food was good as bar food goes. Second visit we got a raw burger - seriously, it was so raw you could scoop the inside out and make a new, smaller hamburger patty - and the do-over, while cooked-through, tasted of old grease and wasn’t hot not sure how they pulled that off?!. I still shudder when drive by Shoppers or think of that burger, which is good in a way because I haven’t wanted a hamburger since. I would still go there for drinks, though, once the memory of the food has faded.
Stayed next door while in town for a work trip. Ate here several times. Great atmosphere, very cool staff. Several activities during the evening hours to keep you entertained. Food was excellent as well.
Had an awesome burger last night! Place wasn't very busy. Was a nice meal! Close to home and I will go back again!
EDIT: April 10, 2022 Ugh, we got 2 orders of the fried pickles and cherry peppers to go and let's just say I'm not so sure what happened. They were barely battered and they were not crispy at all. They were so greasy that we could barely eat them and it actually made us both sick. What has happened to the food from this place EDIT: July 30, 2021 I ordered the steak tip dinner with rice & broccoli. Let me tell you how delicious the steak was, perfectly cooked and the taste of the marinade was amazing. I got it delivered through GrubHub and it came hot and my order was correct. I really like that the windows open all the way so when it's nice outside we were still able to feel the beautiful weather. The bartender was nice and had a great sense of humor. We ordered some Mango Habanero chicken wings that were delicious. I will definitely be going back there.
Nice chill atmosphere. The food was fantastic! Nice selection of beers on tap. Place was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Keira sells her local art there on Friday and Saturday. She makes some beautiful art that is a spin off of avocados. She is so talented and creative! The bar has maybe 10 of her pieces of work. Come check it out!
Really good food. Nice new atmosphere too with a million TV's. Looking forward to football season!
