My 84 year old mother saw a coat before Christmas in your store that she liked. It was $19.95. She waited until after Christmas thinking it may be on sale. Today she drove to your store found the coat, in her size, and to make things better there was a sign with the coat that said they were 60 - 70% off. She took it to the check out and it rang up $23 and some cents. She told the checker that there must be a mistake and she was told that she didn't do the pricing and offered no other help. Not even a manager. She went home without the coat and a vow to never do business with you again and also to tell her story to all who would listen. Now I'm thinking, hmmm this really sounds like something not only unethical but maybe even illegal if your company is doing what it sounds like your doing. That would be elevating your prices so you can give such a wonderful discount and the discount price is higher than the regular price. Could this be what you are doing? Could there be some other explanation? Is it all about the almighty buck to you at the expense of the public whom you want to patronize your business? If so, shame on you!!! By the way, my mom left your store and went to Walmart where she found the same coat for the same price as your pre-"sale" price. Yup, $19.95 It takes a long time to build up trust after even just one deception. For if you're dishonest with a coat, then what else?
