This is just terrible. My order was $14.00, it was chicken Ramen bowl. The total amount of chicken or protein was 8-9 very, very small pieces. Not even 2 tablespoons in total. The bowl was almost flavorless. I had to return my meal and request a refund. The drinks are served with almost no ice, in very small glasses. The help is absolutely rude. Both employees were sitting in plain site of the counter, I waited about seven minutes, until I finally had to say "excuse me". Never will I return.
Best ramen I’ve had in a very long time. I live in Cincinnati and it’s so hard to find anything here that is as good for the price. Definitely will be back next time I’m in town! Vince was really friendly but their pet turtle Rex stole the show.
This place was pretty awful. No cashier up front you just order on a tablet. We did dine in a the seating area was absolutely freezing. No music or anything playing to set an atmosphere. 3/4 people in my group got ramen that came out cold and had to ask to be reheated. Spring rolls did not taste like any spring roll that I've ever had and not in a good way. The rest of the food tasted alright but just seems like they warm it up in the back and not cooked fresh for it to come out cold.
The food used to be good here with a bunch of bento boxes and variety. Now there are very slim options and what you get is just very sad. The food is just okay now isn't really worth the 12-14$ they charge. If they brought back all of there original options I would probably come back but as it is right now I probably won't sorry to say.
Some of the poorest quality ramen I've ever had. Smallest portion of burnt to a crisp pork I've ever had served to me. Cashier was rude while I was taking my Order of Habanero Ramen. He insisted I wouldn't be able to handle the spiciness. I love spicy and hot dishes and the Habanero ramen wasn't even spicy at all... poor quality, poor service, I will gladly drive 10 + miles into Toledo to try different restaurants.
Dined in one evening for dinner. Sat as far away from the entrance because the restaurant was freezing inside. Ended up eating with my down-feather jacket on. I’ve never had “cold”, room-temperature ramen soup before. Idk if that’s a trend now? But it’s been cold and windy lately, so I had ordered ramen expecting hot broth. I got a bowl that was barely warm and cold broth. The person that served me was very kind when I asked if my soup could be heated up. The flavors were good overall, but it had the impression of soup components being prepped ahead of time, then assembled and heated as it’s ordered. I also had a veggie spring roll and some pork dumplings. The veggie spring roll had good crunch, but the inside was a mushy paste I was not expecting and was lukewarm. I did not like it at all. The pork dumplings were also lukewarm, even though they are pan-seared.. Overall I do not recommend.
We are not from the city and don’t have a place like this where I live, so we were excited to have some authentic Ramen. Ordering the food was ok but ordering the boba tea was incredibly confusing. He kept trying to tell me it’s a smoothie when I wanted a boba tea. The employee brought the food and said “I think we got it right” which they did but who says that? After that he disappeared. I had to yell to get someone’s attention just to get a container for the food I could not finish. I also seen they sold Sake by the bottle and so I decided to buy one to take home. When I got home and took it out of bag I realized the employee gave me the open bottle with a portion missing out of it that I assume was the one being used for individual sales! I paid $22 dollars for a bottle that was already opened and used. How disgusting and waste of money! Update: I was told to call for refund and everytime I call no one answers and it says that the mail box does not except messages because he has not been setup.
Excellent food, customer service, and prices. The kimchi is incredible, the ramen is wonderful and the amount of food you are served is very generous. If you are in Perrysburg or the surrounding areas, I would definitely recommend Shokudo for take out or dining in!
Do not eat here. Ramen broth did not taste good. The noodles were disintegrated. I tried calling to return the food/request a refund in case I had a bad batch, they said the manager was off. I left my info and no one has contacted me. Wish I hadn’t spent $50.
Just ordered the Lava Ramen, amazing! Hard to find a good place to order ramen from and they didn’t disappoint. Will be back for sure!
