Shoeless Joe's Sports Grill - Vaughan

A typical sports bar, beautiful setup, huge place with a large patio, rooftop and two floors! Portions are huge, nice ambiance, prices are good but the taste can get a big push! Their menu is two full pages, have tried many items and they’re all good/mediocre.. Large screens everywhere, so you’re guaranteed to catch a game or a fight, which they tend to charge a cover charge for these nights.

Service and food here are very good! The ambiance is perfect for a casual, laid back hang out, especially to watch sports since there are screens in every possible viewing point. The limited time menu is really good and I hope they keep some of the dishes and drinks in their line up. I had the honeycrisp apple mule and it was DELICIOUS. The waffle fries and regular cut fries are nice, thick, perfectly seasoned and perfectly fried. The burger especially the limited time menu version - double stacked western burger was delicious, juicy and loaded with flavour, albeit INCREDIBLY messy to eat. The fish sandwich was good too though I should have asked for a lemon wedge to help brighten the flavour. The only comment / caution I call out here which I'm sure is common amongst a lot of restaurants is that the bartenders and waitresses grab lemon and lime wedges with their bare hands, not using tongs or washing their hands before grabbing the drink accents. This is why I didn't ask for lemon for my fish sandwich. I would come back but I would hold off on any citrus wedges, especially during pandemic where hand hygiene is critical. But also seeing the bartenders touch their hair and faces and then grabbing the lemon wedges was a turn off hence the 3 stars. If it this was just based on food and service, I'd give this a 4 star.

Food was *really* quite good for a sports bar. It's not fine dining but it was awesome for burgers, chicken, wraps, etc. The staff was the real star of the show though. Service was outstanding. We were part of a large group, and everything came out quickly and accurately, and the bills were perfectly organized. Never had to call anyone over for drink refills as they were totally on it. The management should be really proud of their staff. Atmosphere was pretty upscale for a sports bar too. Really nice. We will 100% consider this for our future team functions, or even just for date night when a game is on.

Place is great, great service, but the food wasn't really good. It's wasn't was I expected, when we got the food it did look delicious, but when we tried it wasn't even delicious.

Great place to watch sports, I went there to watch the World Cup. Beer and food was good, service was very nice from all the staff. And the best is the atmosphere there! Surely I will come back soonFood: 4/5

We came in a very late hour but we're seated promptly and served well. The kitchen was a little bit slow, especially with the entrees, but everything tasted absolutely amazing. The place did seem to have a lot of inebriated patrons who are knocking over chairs and making a nuisance of themselves in the bathrooms.Food: 5/5

This past Sunday April 24th I organised a high school reunion for George Harvey Secondary with classmates from 80-85. I was informed when I called SJ Vaughn that would need to speak with Nicole B general manager at the restaurant. Nicole and I communicated for 6 weeks as I planned this event. Nicole went above and beyond from suggestion of buffet and food. Was kind enough to play 80s music and it doesn't end there. Johnathan G and Megan P our servers that night were engaging and incredible at keep our drinks full, smiles on our faces and Nicole would check in on us regularly to make sure everything was ok. As someone who worked in the industry for 20 years I could not have been more pleased. Thank you SJ Vaughn!

My first time going to this spot ,I must say I had a great experience. Customer service was superb, all the staff were friendly . Food and taste I gave it 100% atmosphere I gave a 100 % .overall this is the place if you looking to have a great time with family and friends and great meals. Parking: Variety of parking is the ,no problem parking Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchairs accessible on the ground floor and the outdoor patio also.

We went in for dinner never being there prior so we didn't know what to expect. The hostesses were great and friendly the food was good, we had the steak on a bun it was a bit chewy but tasted great the drink I had Berry Basil Gimlet pictured was amazing tasting so much so that the wife and I are picking up the ingredients to rip down a bunch once the kids go to bed Cheers

Place is decent with great vibe. Food was just okay but drinks were amazingmojitos n cocktails. Bartender wasnt attentive as she gave us two wrong drinks. Even parmesan chicken pasta was without cheese, literally gross. So am giving 4 stars only for the great vibe of the place n for the mojitos
