OMG! This restaurant is really very good. The food was great We ordered lamb bhuna, daal makhni, paneer dish and butter chicken. And I would say all were delicious and I believe lamb bhuna with garlic naan is a must try for all non vegetarians out there. Best Indian restaurant not in city but in whole Canada!! I’m not kidding Only thing that I didn’t liked was the AC at this place…it wasn’t working
The restaurant is not expensive and serves pretty good food. The place wasn't very clean, as the floor was sticky. But customers can enjoy Bollywood and Punjabi music while they eat. The restaurant is located near Souvenir Mart in Niagara Falls, so it's easy to get to. However, only people who like Indian food might really enjoy this place. Overall, it's an okay experience. Vegetarian options: Indian Menu always have vegetarian options.
We stumbled across this restaurant in Niagara falls which is walking distance from clifton hills. We have tried different dishes and all were delicious. We really liked veg biryani and hara kabab. Prices are nominal. It was a great experience overall.Recommended dishesHara Bhara Kebab, Paneer Jhalfrezi
Yesterday was my Birthday, and my dad had surprised me by taking me to an Indian restaurant called Chef of India. We have passed this place multiple times but never tried it till last night. The food was amazing, the service was excellent! I don’t know the name of the waitress we had last night but she was the sweetest girl I have ever met. We definitely will be back again! Thank you for an excellent time for my Birthday!!
Came here for the first time, Even though it was Monday the restaurant was full. But there was no issue in the food and service. Really appreciate it. The food was really delicious ordered dhai Bhalla, lamb seekh kabab, mix chat, chicken tikka masala, paneer butter masala, garlic naan and gulab jamun. Only thing we didn’t like was gajrela.
One of the best Indian restaurant in Niagara. The food is very tasty . The staff is friendly and there is no wait time to serve the food . The price is reasonable and free parking is available here .
Nice environment and service. Chicken biryani was best out of all our orders. Naan was crunchy which I love as well. Ordered spicy chicken curry and it taste like butter chicken with no cream, seems like the paste was same for butter chicken and curry. Ordered tikii chat but we got samosa instead , we were okay with that but taste and presentation wise, I was disappointed, no dahi, no chilli, no lemon, on chaat just chana masala and coriander chutney with some onions. Price wise I will say it’s bit pricey with portion served.
Great option for Indian food if you’re visiting Niagara…the service was good, the restaurant was clean, staff was friendly….enjoyed the Reshmi kababs served as a sizzler…dal makhni tasted little different in a good way…the malai chicken korma was ok and little bit on the sweeter side….Paneer jhalfarezi was yum with mild spicy curry…tastes amazing with tandoori roti!!
I've visited this place twice once in oct 20 and another was in oct 21 exactly one year apart. We went back because we really like first time and this time was totally disaster. Price are high above average if you compare with quantity, taste, presentation and service. From our this years visit it is clearly seen that this restaurant is struggling to satisfy customer and more and more people are turning their back. Taste is not the best but also does not belong to worst. This restaurant needs to work on fast service and presentation. I was absolutely shocked when they served disposable paper dishes and not only that every thing was served in disposables including curry and starters. With the money we spend we expect better service but here it feels like we are just given food and not served. Hope they manage to run it like before.
The local Indians eat here. That's a good sign. I tried it based on the recommendation from a local. It was so we'll worth it. It has a home feel, which I never mind. But the food is phenomenal.Food: 5/5
