Shishlik Grill House

I stopped a my Shandiz for a quick dinner and I really enjoyed the food, the service and the ambiance. We were greeted warmly and had a great host the entire time. She was attentive and polite. We ordered the kabob combo with chicken and loghmeh which was excellent. The fresh bread was fantastic and the highlight of the dinner. I also tried the house Dough which is the yogurt drink and it was excellent. The store is decorated beautifully and what I loved about it was the real plants and vintage decorations.

Great ambience and authentic Persian food. A must place to visit if around the city. Ordered salmon and lamb chank they were all perfectly cooked. The tea at the end was amazing too. Would definitely recommend.

I've had an awesome experience in Shandiz; food quality was phenomenal. Great environment, beautiful design, and it's really different from other Iranian restaurants. I would definitely come back for their great food and unique environment.

Stumbled upon this place and food was delicious!!! Service was friendly- order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We got the mixed kebab and goat neck and everything tasted amazing! Portion was large too. Would recommend!

The service was good and the food was generally good. A bit oily for my taste but if you are familiar with persian food you would know it is very common to use oil and butter on kebobs and rice. Koobideh was really good and juicy but we were not super happy with the Shandiz lamb chops. The fresh bread is a good addition. I would go there again but I wouldn’t order the lamb chops again

Great atmosphere, nicely decorated. Finally nice to see a nice interior decorated iranian restaurant in vancouver with a great meal. Great photos on the wall idealdesigns.inc and decorative plates hung from the walls. The special shandiz shishlik was the best choice in comparison with loghme and barg. The kitchen and behind the counter seemed chaotic and too many people on the move. Not peaceful at all. The nice gesture from the head cook to come at the tables and adk for the customer's feedback.

Delectable food with huge serving. Lamb Neck is a must! I love their Tahdig too. Terrific atmosphere and service. Would visit over and over

As of August 2022, *the* best Persian restaurant in Vancouver. They know how to cook authentic grandma-style rice, and trust me, they might as well be one of the only 2-3 with they skill in Vancouver. We tried kaseh kebab, loghmeh, gheimeh nesar, and bakhtiari. Every single one was very good. At first I was skeptical about gheimeh nesar, but boy was it good! Service and tahdig were top notch too. I’ll be back to try the other items on the menu!

My first time here. The customer service was great The food quality for good especially the price range. Atmosphere and the design of the restaurant goes well with the Persian food.

We have been here for Persian new year event. Event was good and they had a cute DJ. Staff are nice. Food was very delicious and portions are large. Kase Kabab was very good, although it was more Koobideh than Jooje or Chenje. Service was not so great. Not sure how it is when it is normal and not an event though. Overall we had a food experience.
