Shining Light Cafe

Story

A small town café that serves from 7am-7pm with breakfast all day long.
With homemade soups, breads, hamburger buns, rolls, pie, cookies....ect. Also a variety of omelets, breakfast platters, burger baskets, lunch specials, and dinner specials.
Musical instruments, games, and toys are for use in case there is a wait or for fun. Many novelty/antique items are also for purchase.
Located in the heart of Northern Minnesota on highway #46, Avenue of Pines, scenic by-way. With many attractions, to include: The Lost 40, Bird watching, geocaching, trails for snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ATV riding, hiking, lakes for fishing year around, close to The Big Bog State Park, and a varied wild animals for either viewing or hunting.

Just had a delicious fish dinner! The meal started with a dinner salad, then 2 huge cracker breaded fillets, perfectly baked potato and home-made wheat bun. THEN a piece of lemon meringue pie to finish it off! Wonderful meal and such a reasonable price! Great service and atmosphere!

This place is awesome the owner does most of the cooking and it's the best, she makes all her baked goods from scratch and all the cooking is also made from scratch and you really get what you pay for and lot's. If you ever get in that part of our country you really need to give it a try , I assure you, you won't be disappointed. 😊🤗

I was visiting from Florida, went to near by school to meet someone there, and on the way back we stopped here for lunch. Staff were nice, good food, and Ms. Terran (not sure if I got this name correct) who is cook and owner of Cafe. Please take a minute to walk around in restaurant, you may find something amazing you haven't seen (Antique). Very nice place to stop.

This place is great! I come here as much as I can when I'm in the area. The specials are always filling and the price's are good. And you can't beat the people thanks teener!!

Amazing place, delicious food, very nice people. They have antique nick nacks for sale that are pretty cheap there and ther is a piano and guitars to play while you're waiting. Such a nice calm atmosphere.
