Great experience at Shin Ramen and Sushi. We ordered the yam tempura And torched pressed salmon plus the torched roll. Oh also the miso soup. So the yam tempura batter is not your typical batter but it gives a great crunch that gives the impression of eating a vegetarian chicken wing. The torched pressed sushi was out of the park. The flavours were so well made, savoury, spicy and crunchy. The torched roll was just a delicious and it gave more of a texture feel with the variety of ingredients plus the fresh avocado. Not to be missed are the little toppings on the sushi as accents but also additional flavour notes the capers and the little crunchy bits on the rolls were a great addition. Great date spot
Wow this place is amazing! My family and I had to wait a little bit, it was well worth it. The Ramen was amazing and the sushi was good too. Best part was how very little we had to wait to get the food. Staff is pleasant, place is clean. What are you waiting for! Make your next outing to this place!
Great authentic taste! We have been coming here for 2 years now, the sushi I had for the first time, my latest visit and every time in between has been consistent... My wife loves their ramen bowls.
It's funny that I lived right down the road from this spot for years and had no clue it existed. Or did it? Either way I'm happy it does because their Ramen is some of the best I've had in the city. The place was delightfully emptygood for us, bad for business I'm sure but we did arrive at a weird time between lunch and dinner. I got the Ramen Tan Tanpicture and it was just spicy enough to satisfy my need for flames. Not too hot to ruin the dish but just enough to create such an amazing flavour for the broth. Will definitely revisit. Thanks again
From the moment I walked in to the second I left, this place treated me like I was an unseen family member who just reunited after a while. Shin Ramen and Sushi has quite the experience. From different tastes that fill up your mouth, to a great customer service from the waiters to the chefs. This has become my weekly spot for my sushi cravings. With affordable prices, and a wide variety of cuisines. This restaurant will surely please all different tastebuds. Highly recommend giving Shin Ramen and Sushi a try, every other sushi restaurant seems incomparable after a single dining experience.
My wife and I, were in the mood for ramen and quickly found this place right off the highway. Small and cozy and the food is definitely worth it! Very fast service and great quality sushi + ramen. Portions and price match, definitely recommend to anyone that's curious!
It's one of those Japanese restaurant that you usually walk or drive straight by without even noticing. But you are missing a gem here. Great dishes. Great prices. Small shop but gets it done right.
Very generous portions at an affordable price. This restaurant is perfect for Humber students who want to grab takeout or for casual dine-in. Menu is large with plenty of ramen dishes, sushi dishes, rice dishes, katsu and appetizers. There is limited seating inside, but it is clean and welcoming. I have had the black tonkotsu ramen as well as the sushi special, multiple times. Quality matches the price sushi rolls were falling apart, etc., but the portion sizes have exceeded my expectations. Went looking for food that would go with the weather and found this amazing place. Love the food, service, and place I got gyu beef donburi and salmom onigiri and it was legit delicious My friend got chicken katsu and shrimp roll. TastyWould definitely come back : They've got various choices of appetizers, ramen, donburi rice bowls, katsu, rolls, alacarte, and many others.
The ramen and sushi idea is spectacular. Normally, you would think that one would be better than the other but in this case, both were phenomenal! Cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant, will definitely be returning and/or ordering take out! New favourite ramen and sushi spot.
