Shimizu K Kevin, DC

Dr. Shimizu is a very professional and skilled Dr. I see him regularly for a few years now. He explains what he will do and the reasons. He doesn't use any massage machines. He won't put you on low-frequency treatment like Dr. Ho and leave you alone. He gives you the "treatments" you need. He can see where your pain is coming from. He fixes the issues you have, and the result is immediate! That's amazing! But there is only one problem with this clinic, the receptionist his wife. She requests you to be "ON TIME". If you are late for 1 minute, she will give you nasty comments over the phone AND at the clinic, AND in future appointments. She NEVER forgets you are late for 1 minute. Now you have to see Dr. Shimizu with a terrible feeling. Keep in mind, your appointment won't start "ON TIME" most of the time. You will end up waiting for over 10 minutes. Still, the receptionist will give you comments if you are not waiting at the clinic. Since they moved to the new location, it is harder to book an appointment because of the fewer hours of operation than before. This clinic doesn't have an online booking system. You have to call to make an appointment. Overall, I strongly recommend Dr. Shimizu as your primary chiropractor. Just be aware of the receptionist, and you better have a backup chiropractor, just in case.

This guy is a God. I’ve not been able to lift my arm higher than my shoulder for 4+ months now. I’ve been to at least 5 physio sessions elsewhere that were nearly an hour long each, where did all sorts of things like poke needles into my shoulder and put electricity into it, put pads on my shoulder and put electricity through it, ultrasound it, warm it, etc. and it honestly made no difference. 15 mins with this guy, I CAN LIFT MY ARM. It still hurts but I don’t feel like I ever need anybody else for all my body problems. Thank you!! They REALLY want you to be on time since they book a lot of appointments back to back. Do not be late in fact show up 10 mins early or you will be hated.

Dr. Shimizu is fantastic. After countless nights of pain and aches of my lower back, he was able to quickly adjust my weak joints and fix my back completely! He is effective and efficient with his skills and you can definitely count on him.

This place is fantastic! I have been getting treated here for years and I'm glad that I did. I first came with knee and back pain so bad, I had difficulty going up stairs. After some treatments, the pain started going away and my knee got stronger. I now come monthly for maintenance treatments and would and have recommend them to anyone needing treatment.
