Shiba Poke

A novelty in itself, and a novelty for the most part. Their novelty is their Shiba shaped rice portion, which is really cute, and each poke comes with a variety of ingredients that populates the bowl. Aside from the novelty however, it's a pretty standard poke, but all of the additional ingredients become just a little too much for the bowl. Not everything works together, but I suppose it's a decent portion size of food.

Stopped by here with my friend for a quick grab for lunch and immediately was drawn to the atmosphere with the cute paintings of the shibas on the wall. The lady that served us was very friendly. She even gave us complimentary green tea! I got the shiba bowl with torched salmon and my friend got the kaiken bowl with tofu. It tasted very fresh, and the portion was generous for one person. I love how there was a nice variety of vegetables, salmon, and rice. Overall, I would definitely order from them again and would love to try their shiba paw waffles!!

I’m about a week late on my review seeing as I visited sometime last week - however, I knew I would get around to it because I was so impressed with this poke spot! Asides from the inside decor being super cute, my friend and I were served by James who was so friendly! Amazing customer service and great food! Thank you James for making the first visit so memorable!

The stars are for the friendly service. Definitely social-media worthy plate decor but by any means not the best poke I’ve had in Toronto. Strictly average but with some quality premium toppings. Needs more sauce and the rice was too stiff and sticky probably because they had to shape it but it interfered with the mixing you do in a poke. Very surprised by extremely high rating. I got the inu bowl which was supposed to be spicy tuna but it was not at all spicy, very mild. Also more expensive than other poke places, but that’s probably due to the neighborhood.

Surprised by this adorable hole in the wall shop! grabbed an UBE CHEESECAKE bubble tea. I was impressed but the creative selection. The one I chose was great without adding extra sweetness as it has real ube and real cheesecake. I didn’t ask if she had an alternative milk coconut milk could be an awesome alternative, but it was still delicious and I really enjoyed it. I’ll be back to try more.

Stopped here to order take out, we got a Tosa bowl and a build your own poke bowl and both came out great! Ingredients were fresh, neatly decorated, loved that they include soy sauce for dipping and Shiba rice was super cute. They have bubble tea options available too and Shiba pancakes. Food was ordered and prepared quickly!

I went because of how cute all the pics were, but omg the food was amazing! I got the Akita bowl and a peach bubble tea, both were made and packed with care and tasted incredible. The bowl was waaayyyy bigger than I expected and i will definitely have enough for lunch tomorrow too. Such a tasty and amazing find near High Park

The interior is sooo cute!! You really have to visit to experience it for yourself. This location is kinda small no dine-in space but they really make the most of it! Drinks were yummy but definitely more on the sweeter side apparently you can adjust the sugar levels though so I'll do that for next time Poké bowls were obviously adorable and delicious too! They were also well portioned and besides the raisins, we loved how many toppings they came with!

Healthy food can be found here. Highly recommend Shiba bowl for anyone who likes salmon. This place features Shiba paintings that are soulful and artistic. I heard if you have and bring your Shiba along to the restaurant you will have discounts.

The delicious torched spicy mayor-dressed salmon is actually jaw-dropping for anyone who loves salmon. Portion is huge for lunch or dinner. Shiba shaped sushi rice with a little touch of nose and eyes and ears is really cute. It’s definitely worth a try.
