Sherry's Downtown Diner

Went in for the first time on a Friday evening with my husband. We were greeted and instructed to sit where we wanted. We choose one of the booths in a little nook to the side, very cozy! I love the family feel of this restaurant with kids artwork from their visit to the restaurant adorning the walls. I especially loved the drawing by my seat. Our server visited our table straightaway with a lovely smile and warm welcome. Jenny was just wonderful, very quick and helpful. My husband got the Buffalo chicken wrap and I got the jalapeño burger. They were both excellent! The French fries were on point, very crispy. The portion sizes seemed just right as we both finished our meals feeling full but not stuffed. The prices were also very reasonable. We did both get hot drinks and our bill was still less than $25. I would warm however that they use Ken’s Steakhouse dressing which contains MSG- otherwise I would have tried the Reuben Sandwich.

I came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning after hearing they recently opened. We were able to find parking right out front and were seated easily. The menu is a good size and also very reasonable price wise. I got an egg white vegetable omelet and a side of wheat bread with home fries. The portions were huge! It was good, filling and well seasoned. Our waitress was friendly and checked on us a few times while seated and refilled our coffee. The inside was nice, clean, and inviting. I'd recommend a stop in!

Food took forever, my daughter got a chicken dilla. Boring and thrown together. Ruben was good .. wife had the French dip.. that was Just passable. The food was ok.. the staff seems to get overwhelmed very easy.

Sherry's Sunrise Diner has absolutely won my patronage! Sherry's is a fun, quirky, yet bright and friendly atmosphere. The general feeling of "joy" is actually palpable! Waitstaff is very attentive and friendly, without being intrusive. Food is thoughtfully prepared, of good quality, very tasty, of reasonable portion sizes and plated in fun, whimsical displays and priced most reasonably for the product served. If you're looking for good food, a clean, joy-filled atmosphere, at a good price, I highly recommend Sherry's Sunrise Diner! Kid-friendliness: Kids seemed not only to be most welcomed, but waitstaff was observed interacting with all kids in a welcoming, accepting, understanding, and appropriate manner - with kindness and patience - assistive. Such kid friendly interaction was most refreshing to experience! Kudos to Sherry's management team! Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, doors are wide and installed with low-thresholds at street level.

My first time here with Mt husband and our daughter. I felt like I was having breakfast in my mom's kitchen.. it was warm and cozy and the food was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful breakfast.Food: 5/5

This place was awesome. The food is excellent. My kids really enjoyed eating there. The atmosphere is relaxing and cozy. I got the turkey melt and god it was great. Will definitely be going here again. Definitely recommend.

We loved it! Highly recommend giving it a try! My littlest is 2 and a half and he loved all the different trucks and cars going by! He was given a coloring book and markers which was a nice touch! The food was delicious and absolutely worth the price! Service was fast and attentive as well. Definitely going back!!!
