TL;DR It was a great experience and the food was delicious. Ate here for the first time for lunch today. Fantastic spicing and had a heat level system of 1-10. I had the lunch serving of Chicken Masala, heat level 8. It had a wonderful, thick sauce and the chicken was tender. Heat was enough to make my nose run, just like I enjoy :3 the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They did an amazing job keeping our waters filled. I also got to try the lunch serving of Chicken Curry, heat level 8. It was delicious, too. Forgot to take photos of our food, but they had a cute window seating area.

The Tandoori Chicken was huge, you get half a chicken, and super flavorful. The naan was also giant. Everything about this place was wonderful.Recommended dishesTandoori Chicken, Papadam, Pappadum
This is hands-down the best Indian food I have had in my travels around the entire country. It looks like a tiny little hole in the wall when you walk in but the staff are incredibly friendly, the owners are amazing people, and the food is seriously the best. Such a unique assortment of flavors, so varied and delicious. I am a huge fan of Indian food and I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed this particular restaurant. We ordered numerous appetizers, soup, bread and three entrées- all excellent! If you’re in Brunswick do not miss this restaurant. Vegetarian options: Huge assortment of vegetarian options, all of it delicious!
After 3+ years of hearing about it from my husband and stepson today I finally got there. Lovely. Great food. Owners are so nice. Got a fist bump for ordering curry on 10. Plenty of shrimp. Happy dancing in my seat.
Fantastic food, some of the best Indian food I have ever had. We shared 5 dishes family style and each one was distinct and delicious and vastly different from the last. Highly recommend!
The food quality the past couple of years has been all over the place. I used to enjoy getting food from here because it was consistently good and I knew what to expect every time. In particular, I have been noticing whenever I get my breads, more often than not, they are either borderline burnt or undercooked and doughy. On my most recent trip in, I overheard some people, who were also waiting to pick up their takeout, saying that this place had changed ownership recently. It makes sense now why the food quality has been so sporadic. I haven’t seen the friendly husband and wife couple that ran the place here since the pandemic.
Food was great as always! The mild level of spice was exactly that. It had flavor but little kick. Medium makes you aware of the spices and hot will make all your body hair try to leave at once. Vegetarian options: Great range of options
My family and I always come here when we want the best Indian food in Maine. Some of our favorites off the menu are the butter chicken/lamb, the delicious naan breads, mango lassi and Tandoori Chicken.This place is a gem on the Main Street of Brunswick! The staff is very nice as well. Takeout is frequently an option for us if we are in the area, served until 9pm. *5 Stars*
This review was for Shere Punjab in Tucson, AZ, not in Brunswick. The chicken masala was delicious and the owner is a Beautiful person and so are all the women who waited on us. They are all very Beautiful people. We dined at table 18. I highly recommend going there for an wunderfully enjoyable dining experience.
