Fantastic place to hold an event. My recent visit was for a wedding. Staff was polite, quick to remove used items, and serving of food and drinks. Food was excellent, I'm pretty sure you can just point to the list of offerings and do fine. Scenery is beautiful with perfectly spaced mature trees. Inside it happened to snow and it felt like you were in a snow globe. Whether your hosting or a guest. You won't be disappointed.
Well organized public golf course, beautiful layout challenging golf course. Clean restrooms If they have a beverage cart on the course would be nice addition and a lot of money for the club.
Always a great time at Shepherd’s Hollow. Definitely one of the gems of the metro Detroit area. If you’re looking for “up north” golf without driving 2+ hours, this is your stop. I worked here about 10 years ago and it’s still a course I recommend to anyone traveling or visiting the area.
I really enjoyed myself and a beautiful golf course. The food was pretty good also Great ppl too.
Attended my nephew's wedding here. Being a newer facility, I was impressed. We had a fairly large wedding party. The staff was outstanding. The place was very nice inside and out. Appetizers and food were delicious. Walk outside, have a seat and enjoy the view. If there was anything that could use a slight improvement, it would be the pa system and acoustics. But that's about it. Top notch all the way around.
Shepherds Hollow held our wedding reception and it was down right gorgeous. Jenna was our coordinator and did a fantastic job. The team at Shepherds Hollow works with you every step of the way. They know what they are doing and on your big day everything will come out perfect. The food is outstanding and your guests will appreciate every last bite. The waitstaff is well taken care of from the venue and act professionally which is somewhat of a rarity these days. Overall, a wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone.
This course is beautiful! Gorgeous course if you can keep it in the fairways! No map on the scorecard so good luck of you haven't played here before! Plenty of blind shots! So hilly!!!! Precision golf! Greens are crazy! Solid pass!
The course is immaculate, greens well kept, bunkers are deep, fairways like carpet and tee boxes flat. Facilities are nice, carts are clean, and they do monitor pace. I have 2 complaints which do not detract from the rating. From a golfers perspective, fairway shots are not rewarded. You can hit a fairway and have a ball 6 inches above or below your feet. From a drinkers perspective, they don't carry Miller Coors products.
Not very impressed with this course... approached the tee box 3 minutes before tee time and were told to go practice putting because they were 10-15 minutes behind....OK.... their practice putting green was like a beach with how much sand was on it from aerating. Started our front 9 and had to wait on every tee box for the group in front of us 1 guy played gold, anther guy blue, and 2 ladies played womans tee box.... Total 18 holes took 5.5 hours, never saw a ranger trying to speed things up, never saw a cart girl. I will saw the course was in good shape minus the greens with too much very course sand on them but the round was just WAY too long.....
If you haven't played go check this amazing course out. This is a true Michigan golf course from tee box to green. Their is no flat on the course it makes you think about every shot your taking and where you want to be on the next one. If your a metro Detroit golfer makes this a must play at least once a season.
