Dr. Shenassa is simply the best! He is caring , gentle and very knowledgeable! He makes you feel like you are his only patient never rushes you and answers all your questions. I had my procedure done today and although it was a wait to see him it is so worth it! Also thanks Maria for all your help through this process and always giving this anxious patient the first appointment. If you have a chance to see this wonderful Doctor grab it! Hands down, the BEST doctor/surgeon I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. He's an amazing and genuine person. He makes you feel comfortable and cared for more so than any other doctor I've had. He's honest, he doesn't sugar coat things, and he's funny. His receptionist, Maria, is just as great as he is. I wish I could do something for this man so that I could feel like i gave as much to him as he did to me. If you need a doctor like him, and you're experiencing some tough medical situations, this is the man to turn to. I can't imagine there is another person like him out there.

De. Shannassa is amazing!! For years I had a female gynecologist while living in Halifax so was unsure of the care I would receive from a male doctor. He has been patient, kind and understanding with my difficult situation; it has been more than appreciated. His secretary is a pleasure to speak to either on the phone or in person and always greets everyone with a smile.

Not just the best gynaecologist I've been lucky to have, but overall, the BEST Doctor I have ever encountered in 50 years. Yes, he is a brilliant surgeon, capable of procedures that other gynaecologists wouldn't even attempt. He is also kind, caring and empathetic and will take the time to answer all your questions until he knows you have no doubts. His "bedside manner" is one you wish all doctors would have. In addition to all of his wonderful qualities and skills as a surgeon, the man has no trace of arrogance and is truly a healer.

What can I say about this amazing man. Before meeting him I had met countless doctors because I had endometriosis at age 16 and he was the ONLY one who gave me my life back. His treatment plan allowed me to conceive my on son and he gave me my life back with my hyerectomy there is no one else I would trust more. His wait times are well worth the quality of service.

Excellent and exceptional doctor, along with his caring diligent office assistant Maria. Dr. Shenassa, cares for his patient's best interest. I had a laproscopy procedure in 2018, he understood my initial problem and did everything he could to fix it surgically. He provided me with excellent care pre and post op, he removed all my endo and gave me a better outlook. He provides a detailed report and follows up well after surgery.
