Delicious & efficient ordering system. We ordered on the iPads, which was easy and I liked the customizability of the food. Lots of options and easy to use. The food was very good! I’ve been to Shelby’s in Oakville before and this was just as good! At the oakville location I tried the shawarma box, where they cut the shawarma into little pieces - I found this was too messy. Go for the shawarma wrap! The fresh fries shout out to za Belgians had a perfect crisp to it. You can tell that they really worked on this recipe. The shawarma I had was very good - I got the chicken shawarma. I did find that it was quite saucy and garlic-heavy. I think next time I’ll go easier on the sauces. It’s obvious that this is what really elevates the flavour of the shawarma. I also LOVE how they prepare the bread fresh to order. This sets them apart Overall, I think Shelby’s really lives up to the hype. Their marketing is brilliant; it’s the reason I came here in the first place. A great example of a restaurant chain making full use of social media, with their truly unique twist. Of course this hype raises expectations. They lived up to my expectations.
Ordered a chicken shawarma biryani and a medium chicken bowl for dine in. And we got kunafa and baklava for take out. Chicken shawarma biryani was really sour! Chicken bowl was just average, nothing special about it. It felt like Kunafa and baklava were made in some cheap oil. Probably the worst shawarma place I’ve been to in Hamilton. Not sure how the other reviews are great. Never going back here again.
I came all the way from Ottawa to Hamilton to try the famous Shelby’s Legendary Shawarma. It was absolutely delicious! Fresh made-to-order bread, garlic sauce, chicken, fresh fries, pickles, pomegranate molasses and torching with hot sauce. Simply amazing! The management was super nice as well. Cleanliness was on point. Please come to Ottawa! We’re missing out on this legendary shawarma experience!!

Try the Shawarma Biryani!!!! It's a dish like no other. Bursting with flavor, lots of toppings and packed with meat!! It's a fairly big portion, I had leftovers for the next day. It even comes with two mini samosas. We had also ordered the Bacon Halloumi Shawarma Wrap which was extremely flavorful.Food: 5/5
Food is great, but expect a wait during rush times. May take 30 to 45 minutes to recive your order. Best to order ahead. Also, possibly expect smaller portions than they advertize. I ordered a legendary boutine and there was barely any fresh fries in it, the boutine was barely filled.... EDIT: ANNND we found a piece of plastic in our boutine. We ordered thru the app so its not like we could have even been rude enough to deserve this. We usually love this place but todays experience requires some employee review. Was super excited to have a Shelby's wrap after a long time but was disappointed from this outlet. The biggest disappointment was: the chicken wasn't cut while making my wrap, it was already pre-cut. Food: Chicken was not cooked refer photo. Could be violating the food safety instructions too. Ive had Shelby's at other places and can say that this one was missing flavours. Staff: Owner/partner of this outlet himself made the wrap for me. He was friendly and even suggested a couple items to try. Value for money: No, not for this outlet untill they get somethings straight. Otherwise, it still is a bit overpriced but could be good. Vegetarian options: Falafel and salad
I was there to meet “Shawarma Man” As it was my kids birthday and he wished to meet him. Very nice people and awesome food. We tried “ shawarma “ Biriyani, mac and cheese shebys wraps. All the food were amazing. This is the first time we tried Shelbys and no way can compare to any other shawarma i tasted before. Its za Best

I would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone. I would suggest the traditional lamb and beef shawarma with a side of hummus. Shelby’s shawarma is the best ever I had. The service was a little slow but the food was worth the wait.Food: 5/5
