The food was excellent; I enjoyed every mouthful. I ordered the shawarma bowl, which had a flavour profile that was somewhat reminiscent to Halal Guys but a little better. The only thing I didn't enjoy about the restaurant was the small flies that were flying all over the lights. The place was really pleasant with art all over the walls. But other from that, everything else was fantastic; I'll be back!
Great Shawarma. I ordered the same one in London with similar results so the consistency is there. Next time I will try their bowls but I think I would not be able to finish it. Looking forward to my next stint here.Food: 5/5
Pros: The kunafa is so delicious! I’ve never had it until trying it at Shelby’s but I’m obsessed! The cheese with the syrup - so addictive! I love it so much I eat it first every time The rice and garlic sauce are great! They make the shawarma bowls so amazing! Happy with how quick the food is prepared and how hot and delicious everything is! Love the waiting benches, the signs letting you know when your order is being prepared and finished and the ordering kiosks! It’s all pretty cool and different from other restaurants. Cons: As another reviewer pointed out, the chicken they use must be cheaper and lower quality as it has skin on and pieces of gristle through out. It’s still delicious but just annoying having to pick out gristle while eating an amazing meal. If Shelby’s used higher quality chicken without skin, it would be even better than it is! Super happy with it now though! Hard to even get photos, it’s so delicious I can’t stop myself longer enough to get photos I’ll have to try the Shawarma mac and cheese next
I’ve been waiting to try Shelby’s for a while now and finally it happened! I got the biryani bowl with beef and Chicken. The bowl was delicious, but nothing about it was biryani. Just adding color to rice and some green chutney doesn’t make it Biryani. My son got the chicken shawarma wrap and that was pretty good as well. We also got some fries and rice bowls with beef shawarma. My kids enjoyed it. Zatar fries were pretty good and crispy. Spicy garlic was a mayo based sauce and not the original Toum sauce. Like alway, try it for yourself
Chicken skin in a shawarma! Are u kidding me? Blue coloured chicken all thigh’s. Most good shawarma places uses chicken breast only , this is the worst experience i ever had . Chicken was not clean all fat and skin still on it u can see in the picture! Worst shawarma and shawarma place i have ever seen . Disgusting . Paid 40$ for 2 blue stinky smelling and disgusting chicken shawarma plates. Dont spend ur money here u can get better and cheaper shawarma anywhere is better than this place . Went straight into the garbage. Save ur money .
Their traditional wraps are my personal favourite. The wraps and shawarma have the authentic middle taste that I have personally experienced in KSA. There is not an ample amount of indoor space available for dine in & watch out for their peak hours after 8pm ad it can be at-least 20-30 minutes of wait especially on weekends. It has already become one of the best shawarma places in town since it’s grand opening in June 23 and glad we have this Chain finally in YQG.
I'm going to be straightforward with my experience and my review... The shop is really nice, clean, and organized they have nice technology which is we can order by an iPad nice atmosphere for the family about the food: the bread was really good but the chicken little bit old I asked for extra garlic in my both sandwiches I only got a regular amount in them the fries was really good the garlic was acceptable the packaging is really nice and neat the reason I gave three stars to the food is only because of the sandwiches other than that everything is good keep it up guys Vegetarian options: They have many good options of veggies Kid-friendliness: Nice place for the family
Excellent service and great food, taking shawarma to a different level. Many options to choose from. New shawarma joint and great addition to great food in Windsor and they are busy at night, for night out guys check it out will satisfy your palate .Food: 5/5
To be honest, this restaurant's chicken shawarma tastes far better than any other shawarma I've ever had. The flavor of the chicken shawarma leaves a pleasant aftertaste. The pricing is reasonable, and the packaging is great. Everything tastes fresh as well. Will order again.Food: 5/5
Had the shawarma biryani bowl, it was good. The chicken shawarma Halloumi Quesadilla was yummy. I am not a huge shawarma fan and a lot of people have a lot of different tastes when it comes to food and that what makes food so exciting for me, so you will find some loving this shawarma while others hating it. For me it was ok and for my Lebanese friends was ok, we’ve had better and we’ve had worse. I love Shelby’s social media buzz and the smile it brings people. The place was really busy on a Saturday but they did their best and food came out right and was enjoyable. Keep up the good work
