Wow what a bargain - best little fair close to the capital. Labour day Monday entrance and rides for all ages $10. Plus free demo derby and huge beer tent - this will now become an in-expensive back to school tradition for my family! Just enough rides for kids and tweens and older teens.
While the 2021 edition was smaller than usual it was great to feel a little bit more normal. The smaller format and smaller crowds were great for a toddler experiencing his first fair; less crowded midway, no giant crowds to weave through, petting zoo and cow barn we're still open too. Can't wait to go back next year!
Love the prices of admission and midway, however we had a problem with one ride. The guy forgot to mention to my friend and his daughter that the heavier person should sit on the outside. During the ride she was screaming in pain and almost went unconscious! It was a serious mistake on his part. Not very impressed by his lack of safety. She had sore ribs and was very scared. Please be careful on this ride!
The price of admission/rides was reasonable. However, there was only one ATM on site and the line up was 20-30 people everytime we circled back. Might we suggest adding at least one more machine to accommodate the lengthy wait times.
Lots of fun for the family, one of the best fairs that we've been to, fun rides and fairway, lots of food trucks to choose from and big name artist concerts!
