I have nothing but good vibes when I come to get my food here. This man and his little team make the best schwarma in town. I have never and I mean never had a bad plate of food here. The flavors are consistent. The attention to detail is incredible and the personality and pleasantness of the restaurant itself is friendly and accepting. Please make sure to give this food a try and you will definitly not be disappointed.
By far my favorite shawarma place. The food and servixe is awesome! Combo for 2 is dope. The chiken they cook is very tender and flavored. Chicken wrap on the crisper side is amazing. The rice is very juice but chewy at the same time. Spicy potato with garlic mayo on top is a must try. Besides, the price is very fair. I always get more food than I expect. Strongly recommend, love this place.
Quantity - I ordered 2 chicken shawarma platters, the quantity is very generous. You get what you pay for Quality and taste - tastes great and the food was considering I went near closing time, chicken was not dry and the hummus was fire Overall - great food, great quantity and the store owner is very kind and welcoming. Best customer service, owner is friendly and kind, I tried a lot of shawarma places in kw this place is by far better than the others. Shawarma platter was juicy big in flavor especially the sauces which complimented my meal but also the meals you order. there's a sauce for just about everyone's liking. My meals was prepped to my liking I must add it was for sure made with care and love. I recommend eating at this establishment and be sure to ask how you'd like your meal as they will do the best to make your meal to your liking. You will be helped by the owner 90% of the time. Ps the ingredients used here are fresh!!!.
From the service, food to overall experience, everything is absolutely exceptional. My buddy and our families have been regulars here for a little over a year at this point and it’s always been an amazing experience. Farid hope I’m spelling that right, the owner, is an amazing guy, super friendly, has a really positive vibe and absolutely loves what he does. Every time I enter I feel super welcomed. From what I know he even takes customer feedback into consideration and has even implement some of these changes. He’ll even help you figure out what order will be best for you, he cares about his customers quite a bit. The food though, fantastic, never had an issue with it and it’s always been an burst of flavour with every bite, you’ll sometimes even get to see him make some stuff fresh right in front of you. It’s just *chefs kiss* Solid place, 10/10, no complaints ever.
Do you see any chicken ? This place is awful!! Old soggy fries and shreds of something which does not resemble chicken at all. And to top it off this is $12.49 !! Definitely telling friends , neighbours and family who are local to avoid this place.
Bought a Chicken Shawarma Platter, was very good! The chicken and hummus were great. The addition of spicy potatoes is super good! And finally the rice?! Way softer and fluffier than most places , excellent.
I have traveled over half the United States and I live in New York City and I can say with confidence that this place has the best halal food/Shawarma that I have ever had anywhere. Not only is it tasty, but the portions are extremely generous as well. Being gone from Waterloo from a year, I can remember eating halal food in New York City and across the United States simply wishing they came close to how good Shawarma Lounge's food is. Truly an exceptional restaurant.
For owner :What an amazing gyro wrap you made for me!!! Superb. Thank you for potatoes with garlic sauce.. For the customer: owner is very polite,friendly and excellent customer service . Excellent food with fulfilling portions.
This was my first time eating at a shawarma restaurant and my first impression was pretty good. I ordered a wrap combo to share with my friend, who doesn’t eat much, and he devoured it and took all the fries. The server even gave me a student discount and a free water! Definitely on my top 5 fav restaurants.
