Shari's Cafe & Pies

not the best experience. Well we went there because we had a coupon. When we asked about it the waiter gave us different paper menu to choose from. When ask to explain he was loud and pointing his finger in my husbands face very rude. we decided to bypass the coupon and just order regular. waiting and waiting for our food the waiter came and slapped a cinnamon roll down and says they are backed up in the kitchen this should hold you. well that was nice but, no I,m sorry for the wait or anything. My husband is getting pissed off and about ready to leave. our food finally comes my husband is eating his hamburger and it's raw! So he is eating it cause he's hungry and not going to wait another half hour. He shows the waiter the raw hamburger he says you gonna live. So my husband called over the manager, the manager apologized and said our next meal is on him. That was nice of him but we were already fed up with the place and just wanted to go home.

2018 mar 19 I took my friend to go out to eat after a long day of work and cleaning house. Once inside the server came quick but then kinda left us hanging for about 15 minutes. He went to a table somewhere behind us and began to complain out loud to his fellow co-workers about their jobs. We ordered an appatetizer which took half an hour. We get it and it's cold. The man had a tone that I really wished to chew him out for. He continued to talk behind us with three other servers from what I could hear. We ordered a salad and sandwich each and out salads were beyond drenched with what I believe is Italian dressing. He also was setting the disshes down so hard it echoed. I will not be coming back any time soon. Also the condiment bottles were so nasty I couldn't use them.

I'm a hostess at a diner and I bus all the time, and we walk in and stand there for 5 minutes and I looked and I saw dirty table. As a host Ik bussing can get tiring so I started to organize the dishes and one of the severs yells at me to put the money back on the table and I was highly insulted. I can see how that looks bad but it could have been approached more appropriately. I would never taken money off a table that isn't mine.

Went in with my family last night. The place wasn't that busy. And yet we waited over an hour for our food, which we never got. Only our appetizer and drinks. And even those took too long to get. When we tried to ask the manager about our food, we got attitude and annoyance. We had to ask about our food. None of the staff told us there was any delay. No apology or offer of discount for the delay either. In the end, we paid for the drinks and appetizers and left. Not even an apology from the front desk.

If you are driving west on I-90, Coeur dAlene is your first chance to eat at a Sheri's restaurant; driving east on I-90, it is your first chance to eat at a Cracker Barrel. Both serve home-style meals. Walk into Sheri's and your path is blocked by a loaded pie case. Whether you turn right or left, you will have a booth or table quiet enough that you can visit. Take time to look through the multi-page menu and make your choice. There offering for all ages and all tastes - this is definitely a family restaurant. Prices are not excessive. The wait staff may seem slightly disorganized; I think they are getting in one another's way to keep the customer's happy. I have never had a bad dish from the kitchen at any Shari's. If you like butternut squash soup, Sheri's has the best. Finish with pie, the filling is generous.
