Six of us went for lunch today, and it was fantastic! I'd heard about Shannon's Kitchen but never had the chance to go, and I'm so glad we did. First, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the service is great. The food was so good. Fresh, hot, and wonderful flavours. I had the Southern Fried Pork Schnitzel topped with salsa and cheese. A combination I would never think of, but was it ever good! Someone else in our party had the Cajun Chicken, Bacon, and Egg Club and loved it. One of our kids had the Cheeseburger and said it was the best they'd ever had. Very original flavour combinations and all excellent. We will definitely be back. They do accept reservations, and it was busy, so I would recommend calling ahead.
Absolutely delightful from the food to the staff to Shannon herself and the beautiful energy she has created in this cozy spot!nnI had the Belgium beef rolls and Holy moly!nnWhat a treat.nnMy lady had carrot ginger soup with GF toast which was also quite nice!nnHighly recommended and I’ll definitely be back for the famous curries and Benedict on weekend breakfasts.nnThanks again!
First of all the staff is so helpful and accommodating.nFood was fresh and hot. Fish in chips was amazing, so crispy and no grease. If your up here for quick visit don't forget to check this place out.
Amazing Irish /English restaurant where looks like earth stood still and time gets frozen. Old stile huge portions of amazing dishes are waiting for you . The owner is the best entertaining person .nTry snitzel and pulled pork ! Great service !
Shannon's kitchen is awesome! Anytime someone is visiting me from the city, I bring them here for a taste of small town joy.nnShannon and Tommy instantly make you feel welcome with their Irish charm. Their menu constantly changes, but the favorites remain. The fried brie salad, fish & chips, and the schnitzel are among my favorites! Ask about the 3AM fries! nnBring your friends, make new friends when you're here! Just make sure you don't miss out when you're in Victoria Harbour!
