Buzzy's Luncheonette

We were only on Saltspring island for one night, and the food was so good that we came here twice two days in a row. This was the #1 place on my husband’s list, and became our family’s favorite meal on the island. Very friendly owner and there was a line up, which just shows how much this place is adored. We had the hungry Jew sandwich, and the Hannah sandwiches. Perfectly smoked and moist! Please come to Vancouver!

I absolutely loved this place! It had delicious food from The Market, to the Latkes. The meat was smoked to perfection with excellent coleslaw and mustard. The people here were very friendly and cheerful, as well as sanitary which is a huge plus! There was a welcome feel to the place, with funny dad and Jew jokes which made me feel closer to home. This place is absolutely wonderful and I truly recommend.

I love the Montreal smoked meat. The price is reasonable, and the smoked meat is fresh and flavorful. It’s perfect for a quick lunch or grabbing something to eat on the go.

This place is awesome, I noticed it after i had already eaten last time I was visiting and decided it was a must for this trip.nnWe caught the very last brisket sandwich and grilled cheese with brisket of the season! It was SO very worth it. The meat was unbelievably flavorful , the dressing was perfect. The caramelized onions on the grilled cheese were out of sight! And the pickles were magic. A total and absolute win!nnWith friendly service and a cozy atmosphere what more could you really ask for?
