Shamrock City

I had my first Moose Burger at the Shamrock City Pub on water Street main strip, and it was delicious . Drinks are fee poured and strong. Seating inside and out. Local bands are good. Pub is usually packed. Security at door. Bathrooms 6/10.

Came in for Muggy Monday and was not disappointed. Live music was great, staff were all friendly and fast and the selection of beer was great. The onion rings were A+ the pub was super busy for a Monday which was a lot of fun! Definitely a great spot on George Street that I'll come back to next time I am visiting!

Excellent!! Our waiter was attentive and welcoming. Music was good! We highly recommend!

Great place to head for a night out on the town, or simply to sit and have a good meal. The menu is just the right size and not too small or too robust. The food is always quite good. The beer selection is excellent, and you can get a pint or a bottle of practically anything you can think of. The staff are always very pleasant and ensure your glass never goes dry! Have visited many times in the past and will be visiting many times in the future.

Loved the #Shamoose promo they did with the St. John's Summer pedestrian mall events. Always a great atmosphere and good pours. Listened to two live performers who engaged the crowed and played at a talkable volume. Thoroughly enjoyed the Shamrock Koolaid and the P*rnStar cocktails. Had their Blue cheese burger which was mouthwatering!

This was my first bar in Newfoundland and we had a blast. Good pints and great live music. Can't wait to come back to the island and visit again!!!

Oh my Lord... What a terrific place! Fantastic Irish pub feel. Best fish and chips I've had. Couple TVs to watch the sports highlights. And a wonderful staff that upholds the stereotype of AWESOME East coast hospitality. Was my first visit but will not be my last...

Great place for drinks and live music. Menu does not have any options for wheat allergies if it's just a lifestyle choice, they options . The staff is friendly and welcoming.
