Local watering hole. Hasn't changed in decades, and that's a good thing.
Its an ok little pub. Lots of university students. I never really made a night of it there.
Nice and friendly environment where I could just enjoy a few drinks and take it easy.
Average service and severely understocked. Bar lacked loads of the usual liquors. Atmosphere is pretty depressing. Came to celebrate a friend's birthday because the Breezeway was closed. Was pretty surprised to find regular shots priced at almost $30 for 4. Wouldn't come again unless I absolutely have nowhere else to go.
The drinks are okay but the atmosphere is nice...
This place hasn't changed in 25 years. Same small cozy atmosphere, very casual, welcoming place. Place doesn't take debit...only cash and credit. Some decent beers on tap.
Quiet spot, good beer, a few people on the VLTs and a few TVs on with baseball and hockey games
Best Guiness in St. John's
Went there first in early 70's. Great place to have a beer.Still drop in when in the area.
The place is alright. Nothing really memorable from my experience here and the prices are somewhat expensive. I also really disliked how they dont play music, what bar/pub doesnt have music playing?!
