Seriously the Best hummus that I've ever had! The falafel and tahni sauce were fresh and delicious! After dinner, I went back up and ordered the baklava. It was sweet without too much honey. It was very enjoyable. The staff were kind and offered many suggestions. They have a simple indoor seating area. Six tables with four chairs. If you are going in groups larger than six you will likely need to sit at separate tables. Definitely worth visiting again!!
Tried Master Falafil for the first time. We have tried the mix platter and it was really good. The garlic sauce was really good and the meat and salad was yummy. The falafil and hummus were good too. Taste wise it was really good Service - really fast and courteous. Only thing in that the pita wasn't enough for the whole serving, for a platter this size and price atleast 1 full pita should be added or if half, add some rice.
Master Falafel really lives up to its slogan of offering fresh comfort food. Their falafel pita with tahini is my personal favorite the toasted pita crunch is just the cherry on top!. I miss Lebanese food so much which is very similar to Syrian food, really, and their food is just heart-filling and heartwarming. What I’ve found extra special about this spot is that Khaled the owner is hands-on… most of my orders were prepared by him when I’ve dined in so far and it’s been an honor to hear his stories. He’s so friendly and proud of his heritage, which he reflects through his menu, the attention to detail in every order they make at his restaurant, and the stories he shares with us customers. It’s just one of those places where you know you’ll always get a good meal… and a good conversation!
Crazy delicious, unassuming falafel joint. Came in on a hot day, and the baba ghanouj cooled us off. I usually am a fan of larger crumb in the falafel, but this place has the mix ground really small. Surprisingly, instead of being mushy, this made for a super light falafel Will definitely be coming back with friends to try the pita wrap situation. Don’t sleep on this place!
Clean, easy to understand menus with lots of vegan choices. Kids, and husband, appreciated they had french fries ! Owned by wonderful people of Syrian decent. Everything was super YUM!! Definitely will come again!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
Here's Master Falafel from a different perspective... Not only have I been a day 1 customer, but I have worked with the owner/founder Khaled in a professional relationship marketing since he was doing the construction of the restaurant. Since then, here's what I learned about Khaled as a person... Khaled genuinely wants the best for his customers. Truly. He is very much passionate about what he does. He is *constantly* thinking about how he can make the experience at Master Falafel better and better for customers/employees. Put simply...the owner of this place CARES, and you can feel it through his welcoming nature and when you are served your meal. At every meeting, or even when I go to grab a bite to eat there, Khaled *always* talks about ways he can expand or refine his menu to make it fresher and more exciting for everyone. He is also very adamant about making most of his menu vegan for the vegan community, which allows more people to experience his culture. Despite a working relationship, I found that admirable. Beyond his authenticity, the food...it is VERY tasty and delicious. Falafel mix is made fresh daily & prepared per order Falafel creations cheese, spicy are 100% original Hummus is a special recipe from Syria - super creamy Baklava is made in-house & vegan Ingredients are always fresh Recipes are 100% original My personal menu favorites are... Falafel Pita with Spicy Sauce not on menu but I ask Shish Tawook Pita with Fries inside Rochester Plate with Chicken + Garlic/Tahini Sauce one time I drove in a downpour/thunderstorm to get the Rochester Plate because I was craving it so much...true story lol Khaled is an excellent example of being able to work hard no matter your background and being proud of your roots. I promise you will be able to taste the love and respect he has for his culture in any menu item you choose. Try Master Falafel not only to eat a delicious meal but to support someone who is very proud to build a life here in Rochester as a hard-working refugee.
First of all, I love falafel. Second, I love going to a place I've never been and seeing vegan items clearly labeled. This place delivered both those things. Service was good, food was delicious and fresh. I have no complaints at all; I'll definitely be going back!
Amazing Falafels! Best falafels I have ever tasted. Their Pita was decent but 5 stars for their falafels. Would definitely recommend!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: NoCurbside pickup: No
I stopped by at this place with a couple of friends for lunch. We had falafel pita, vegetarian platter and shakshuka. Everything was delicious and very flavorful. The place is very clean and the owner was extremely friendly. So happy we have another healthy food option in Rochester. Can’t wait to go again and try other items from the menu.
So delicious. The falafel is the most moist and flavorful I have ever had. And the shawarma Food: 5/5
