The service here is absolutely wonderful and welcoming. From the atmosphere to the perfectly plated dishes, it is phenomenal from start to finish. Staff treats you like family and genuinely cares for each customer. If you run into any issues at all during your visit management goes above and beyond to not only solve whatever issue is at hand, but to make sure your experience is still wonderful at the same time. I honestly can not recommend this place enough and it will forever be one of my favorite go-to’s.
New favorite spot downtown. It’s a great vibe with a very nice 2nd level seating area that overlooks the whole restaurant. The lighting really ties everything all together. This is the best spot for sushi and all your cocktail needs. Make sure you ask for Kimberly. She’s the best!
Star ratings. 1 bad. 2 below average. 3 average / neutral. 4 good. 5 excellent. Had the midori which was really good and Flaming Hamachi. Cool vibe inside, the freshness of some of the ingredients lacked. For $21 a roll the whole thing should blow my mind. Still overall good, will try again. Parking: In rear plan on public lot behind building across the street.
Braised short rib was incredible! My wife and I have been wanting to go out and try this place for awhile and finally decided to go and brought our 3 year old Friday night. The place was live, mixed crowd of couples and families. The interior is a really cool vibe, we sat upstairs on the couches which was perfect so our son could roam around our table and hang comfortably. They have big screen tvs that you can see from any table. The waiter was great, walked us through the menu, made some great recommendations. My wife got the Green Dragon roll and loved it. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Took my friend here for her birthday and she loved it ! Such a welcoming staff and the food was very good. Gianna was our server and we really enjoyed our dinner and time thanks to her great service and hospitality. As we left we took some pictures by our the holiday display and tree since it was so pretty ..and the hostess offered to take some so my husband and I could all be in the picture with our friend. Thank You so much !
Food is pretty good and the drinks are great. Service on the second floor was very very slow, and we often found ourselves waving to get the server's attention. Service on the first floor is much better. The big screen TVs are a strange addition.Food: 3/5
Was excited to try, but wasn't worth the price. I got takeout, so my review will reflect that I understand it wouldn't be as good as it could be as seated in a restaurant. We both ordered non-sushi items. I ordered the sweet chili Chicken Katsu. Honestly, flavors were fine and variety of veggies was nice and they were actually somewhat cooked which is unusual for most restaurants. The bad part was the chicken, it was just hammered so thin the majority of the dish was oily breading, and the chicken was rubber due to being 2 millimeters thick and deep fried. The chicken was a 1/10. Really disappointed, I was hoping to bite into meat, not breaded rubber. Just comes with white rice, veggies, and sauce the sauce was good but that's hard to mess up so overall, 3/10 and only because the veggies had variety. My wife ordered the Udon, and it was just fine. Nothing more. She will not remember the dish, it was just boring, and the tempura vegetables were extremely bland, no salt - nothing.. 5/10 - nothing to write home about. There are times when food prices reflect how good a dish will be, but in this case it seems the high food cost is simply because their massive nightclub style restaurant is expensive to run and they don't want to go out of business. I might be willing to try something else to give them a second chance but I'm not sure yet..
Very good! Great service — I believe our server was named Dylan. Nice selection of sushi, good beer, cocktail and non-alcoholic options. We’ll certainly be back and will likely go heavier toward sushi rolls as opposed to their entree-type offerings. Seven Spicy Ahi app and Raging Bull maki particularly great!
I highly highly recommend this awesome place, tho it's a bit more expensive than Shinto in Naperville. I had the Volcano signiture sushi roll, green roll & Yaki Udon all of which were Soooo Yummy, & it's not easy to amaze me due to my natural instincts to be Particular just ask my bf lol very Bougie vibe with the crystal chandaliers, modern cushion furnishing, dark themed interior, very cool excellent customer service also. i would come back again soon!
Beautiful place and good food. Not a fan of sushi but was talked into going by friends. I'm glad I went and would definitely return. The food presentation is fantastic and delightful. There are plenty of choices on their menu for the non sushi person. Had a very nice experience.
