Shakers Diner

We stopped in here today for brunch and weren't impressed despite their 5 star reviews. The waitress was poorly dressed in very casual attire.. it looked like pajamas. No uniforms, which is a shame because it would make quite the difference. Every table there was dirty and you had to be seated at them before they got wiped down. We ordered coffees to start and they were delivered without cream or spoons-and didn't return with them. We had to go up and ask for them. She only gave us creamers and came a minute later with our spoons which I assume had to quickly be washed because they were still wet and she plunked them into our cups without us seeing them.. Food came, which was pretty much cold..again no cutlery. Waitress said she would bring them in a minute then proceeded to wipe down tables, cash out customers and then deliver our forks and knives after.. Which again were all wet and she placed them in one big pile on our table and took off. We witnessed 3 other tables go through the exact same silverware problem. No spoons, no forks and knives when the food was delivered. So it was not a fluke.. also Needless to say, we will never be returning.

Food was delicious and service was great! It's like having a home cooked meal at competitive prices!
