On the best of days, this place can be a 4. On other days, it is a 2. Pros, it's open later than most places around here. The pizza is ok at worse. Some days, it's really good. It partially depends on who is cooking. I've had a few other things there and they pretty good. The brisket is a fatty brisket, not that I mind, but know it's not a lean cut. Got my first Vermont creemee here as well.

Shafers feels very welcoming! The market is great for a quick stop in for what it may be that you need. The cafe has some good selections and some tasty treats to go with whatever beverage you select. The ice cream options are vibrant and are a good mix up, the soft serve is wonderful here. However, the real experience starts in the kitchen. Towards the back end of the location you can find an abundant menu; filled with all sorts of options. Shafers is a must visit if you are in the location, quick, easy and amazing.

How is this place in business? The ice cream is softer than their creemees. The pizza is a greasy mess, and the sandwiches are Subway quality at best. The only redeeming factor is their late hours. I suspect drunken students with munchies keep this place afloat.

Pizza here is just OK, which is a shame because they have a really nice wood fired oven. American Flatbread is much better. Service sucks. There are two bro dudes behind the counter and that tells you everything you need to know.
