Shady Rest Motel Apartments

I highly recommend you stay clear of this motel. My son pd for a month to stay there. The first week he was there he discovered bed bugs. The owners confirmed it was bedbugs. They said they would spray the room. He went back the second week found another bed bug. They moved him to another room. Same thing. He left the place and wanted his money back for the next 2 weeks and they would not refund it. It was a filthy disgusting place.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL!!! The Shady Rest Motel was the worst motel I have experienced. After checking in and arriving at our room, we discovered that our room was unsanitary and unsafe, as the our door was off its hinges. The shower had not been cleaned, and the toilet contained urine when we arrived. The bed sheets contained both cigarette burn holes, and questionable body fluids. After spending 5 minutes in the room, we decided to spend the night elsewhere and went to the office to ask for a refund. The attendant Rosie then pulled a plastic sign from behind a plant that said "No Refunds" (This sign was not visible when we purchased the room for the night). After talking with Rosie for 5 minutes we asked for the managers contact information, however Rosie said she did not have it and that we would have to return in the morning. We followed up in the morning and Rosie failed to provide any information saying "no managers name can be given". This is a cautionary warning to avoid this motel at all costs.

Jerks! We paid $89 to stay one night. Booked it at 9 am. By 1pm we had to leave for a family emergency. We didn't even set foot in the room and they refused to give us a refund! Very bad service too. We get there and there was a notice on the door saying they were open but won't be back until 3pm. Ridiculous!

Way to much money the rooms were dirty and very old there were hair on the beds and dirty i dont know how the get away with it so outdated and the rooms stink do much .everything was bookeed in we had to stay some where.but never again in this motel.

They up the price from 87 to120 because it was after 1100 pm and said that if I didn't like it to come in the morning the place is a shady dump
