I never thought I'd be saying something like this but it was actually a pleasure to visit this Service Ontario location. Holy cow. We just moved up here from Toronto and when we went to this office, there was only one older gentleman ahead of us in line who was being treated with utmost respect and patience. When he was taken care of, we met the really nice, actually even funny lady with a great sense of humor who was serving him. For us, she took care of updating two vehicle ownerships, a motorcycle ownership, two drivers licenses and two OHIP cards all in about 10 minutes or so. We didn't even have to fill out any paperwork ourselves at all. Everything was taken care of.nI can actually say in all honesty , I'm looking forward to the next time I visit this location and I hope I'm fortunate enough to be attended to by the same lady.
I go to this location quite often for my business. She is always pleasant with me on occasion I've seen her get attitude from other people and has always handled it well. The other day a customer was so rude to her they made her cry. I've read some of these bad reviews and if you saw what I saw the other day you would realize what this woman goes through on a regular basis. If she doesn't do something for you it's because she is not allowed which is not her fsult. If your rude to her she has every right to be the same back. Think about that when you go into any Service Ontario office, they give what they get......
Would choose zero stars if I could. Very poor customer service and communication skills. When I called service Ontario directly they recommended I just go to a government owned centre and not a privately owned one like this one in the future.nnI went to the Collingwood location with the exact same paper work on the exact same day and they helped me within minutes. No issues.
Friday afternoon, 3 pm and no one is there, despite a note on the window saying she is closed 1:30-2:30. Also, a few months ago she made my mother-in-law cry over getting her healthcard picture she has dementia. I would not recommend this rude woman to work with the public. She has many signs hanging on the wall indicating that people are a big problem for her. “Don’t steal. The government doesn't like competition”. Save yourself the frustration and go to Collingwood or Alliston. Do better Service Canada. Aggression isn't ok from clients or from your staff members either.
This woman is king of a small hill and needlessly fusses about useless details.nEVERY time I’ve been there it’s one thing or another… other service Ontario locations are much more streamlined.nShe’s obnoxious, condescending and it seems like everyone there is such a burden for her….nAvoid.
