I have to say the staff here are really difficult. I went to apply for a health card, and I prepared the materials according to the official website, but the materials they asked for were not up to standard. I had to make two trips to get the missing documents, and in the end, they still didn't process my application, wasting all my time.
Signed in selecting vehicle services. Waited 10 mins in line. Got to wicket they then tell you you have to fill out paper work by hand in 2026. They can’t scan your DL/ownership and auto-populate a document. Send you away to fill the paper in. Wait another 10 mins as they’re now serving other people and calling other numbers out. Staff especially Diana were really nice. But this system is broken. Also good to note that when you safety a vehicle and the tech tells you you don’t need the paper copy you only have 36 days to go in and then to issue new ownership docs after safety. They can’t simply send out an updated ownership now they have the safety data in the system. This system is from the 1990’s and they want us to have digital IDs by 2028!!! Good luck with that!! To reiterate this isn’t an issue with the staff here they’re great. It’s yet another broken and archaic way of providing real service in 2026.

Most notably, the actions of Diana and Glenda for their professionalism, kindness, and dedication to ensuring my challenges were resolved quickly and efficiently.nnAfter less than five minutes in line, Diana set the stage of our encounter by welcoming me with a friendly smile and warm greeting.nnDiana attempted to resolve the reasons for my visit; however, due to the unique circumstances of my challenges, it quickly became evident more assistance would be required.nnDiana did not hesitate to ask for assistance - asking Glenda for advice. Fortunately, Glenda had experienced a similar challenge in the past - enabling her to expeditiously resolve the issue in what I assume is a new ServiceOntario record!nnFor clarity: My experiences at any ServiceOntario location have always been pleasant - treated with dignity and respect without fail And I’m including the chaos of receiving a new drivers license and vehicle license plates during COVID.nnMy experiences with the forward-facing team members has always shown me people who have an authentic desire to help people - with kindness, empathy, and effectiveness as their core values.nnIt was a pleasure to have met Diana and Glenda at the Carleton Place ServiceOntario location Office#: 507, and I look forward to the next warm greeting!nnWarmest Regards,nSimon Kardynal
Exceptional customer service from the staff at this location today. It's rare to be truly surprised with the care, patience and advice provided in such and environment, but the staff went above and beyond all while maintaning pace and efficiency. Well done!
