Sentinel Storage - Stouffville

This used to be a 5 star facility. It was sold recently and the new owners have jacked up the rates, restricted the truck service, charge silly admin fees, force you to buy insurance, cancelled the senior discount and cut back the office hours. All that in just 2 months. The management on site are still first class but it must be tough for them. Companies that treat customers with disrespect usually treat their employees worse.

Had a large locker here for about 6 years that I recently moved my stuff out of. The facilities are excellent, couldn't have been better. They offer a truck to move your stuff in and out with for just a minor cost and having and indoor unloading area was great. My only complaint would be that the prices increased an average of 6-7% a year which seemed unreasonable.

Covered our entire unit in insulation and sawdust. No compensation and they couldn't provide us the insulation type we though it'd be fine... BUT we had to throw away everything that was being stored in the open as it ended up being a severe irritant and caused rashes on us and our dog... Our entire home was being stored here in between moves. Helmets thrown out, couches, quilted blankets, you name it. BRUTAL experience. Not to mention these guys have lawsuit behind lawsuit on them. They also charged our moving company 350 dollars for the driver rubbing against the bay door lol, our moving company made sure to tell their customer's to avoid using Sentinel Storage as they constantly have experiences like that. Delusional people, be careful as you might end up with a lawsuit! some pictures below
