Sentinel Storage - Red Deer

My first experience with a storage site ever. Was great at first, then all of a sudden there was different people telling me different things as to when I can remove my stuff and what the cost to extend time would be. Turns out I couldn't extend time unless I paid over $400 and I also couldn't grab my stuff until that was paid. They told me they would send it to collections of not paid. After all that they hit me for another fee when I left or else they would send to collections. Brutal, as a consumer I only expect a clear outline as to what to do and what policy is but there staff seemed like they didn't care either way. This will be my first and last experience with this company.

I have used sentinel storage off and on since moving to Red Deer in 2012 and the service has always been top notch, everyone in the office is awesome to deal with and the cost is great knowing my belongings are safe a secure in their facilities,access is easy and quick, Thank You sentinel staff for everything..

My husband have been telling everyone how Sentinel Storage is very convienient, also referring couple of his employes and people he know to go there for their storage needs. Yesterday, he rented the courtesy truck to load some stuff to our old place to the new house. When we were going to return it at 9:00 pm , the truck did not turn over. Battery was dead, so he put it in the trickle charger but still didnt start. He had to leave in on the charger for the night so he can return it in the following morning. He got a phone call from the front desk girl, screaming, " where's my truck" very rude, did not even introduce her self.. she was yelling return it now and did not want to hear what my husband had to say. So when my husband return the truck at the office , she was so rude, she said " i dont need to hear anything from you, my boss will call you" , Very unprofessional. Very dissapointing. You will lose customers that way.
