Amazing service from Sara and Nina as I asked numerous questions about the Sentaler coat I was considering buying. They were both so helpful, which I appreciated as I needed to buy without going to the store and trying on various coats. I am delighted with my purchase, which is consistent with their telephone/online comments. I love my new shawl collar coat with the ribbed sleeves--its luxurious and warm without being heavy. And its just gorgeous!
My passion is coats. I bought the Suri Alpaca Long Notched Collar Wrap Black Coat from SENTALER Atelier. It is a gorgeous coat. This truly is a perfect coat. The Alpaca material, and the texture are beautiful. The structure of the coat makes it look very chic, elegant, flattering and classy wherever you go. I have a MaxMara coat and I will definitely say SENTALER coats are 100% better in elegance, style and quality. Indeed, I will buy the Hazelnut colour coat soon.
I wish all my shopping were like this. The service was exceptional: Taylor and Nina were really friendly and stayed that way, even as I tried on half the store; they provided exactly the right level of service on the range from letting me browse to hovering, both helped when there was no one else in the store, which I've rarely seen; a wider-than-normal range of alterations were easily available; and Nina expertly pinned the coat for alterations no waiting for an alterationist, or having to take the coat elsewhere which turned out beautifully. The coats are gorgeous - beautifully made, soft, elegant and surprisingly well-priced. Totally a delightful shopping experience I'd recommend to anyone.
I can only add that now wearing my coat for several years, I am contemplating getting another. Please keep up the wonderful customer service, Sentaler Atelier, Toronto. You are a very special brand of coat/jacket for those of us that live in very cold climates and need to also look elegant…In gratitude, MGM
What to say: I was obese and tired of not being able to close my coats+look elegant…oxymoron: can’t be obese+elegant+in a warm coat at -0 temp!! So I bought a belted, no buttons alpaca coat not ever having heard of Sentaler. Only knew it was a Canadian female owned company & wanted to support women owned causes promoted by IWF…the coat was a dividend. Then I proceeded to lose and keep off 75 lbs! OMG: what to do with the gorgeous, $$ coat which was now looked like someone else’s?? Sentaler did the rest. After congratulating me for my weight loss and for minimal alteration fees, my L coat was converted to an M & am dancing in the coat ever since. I am 63 and have my life and my coat back! BEAUTIFUL, TIMELESS STYLING AND FANTASTIC QUALITY! I bought my first Sentaler coat years ago yes, BEFORE Kate and Meghan. It is the perfect travel coat - dressy enough for evenings, but classic enough for daytime too. The quality is terrific and the coat has held up well, even with lots of airport movement and carrying bags on my shoulder. Since then, I have bought 2 other coats - the bolder colours are particularly special. Sentaler's alpaca hats are the best, NOT itchy, warm and stylish. They are not flimsy like so many cashmere knit hats. I have given these as gifts to college students, older friends and cancer patients whose skin is especially sensitive and they all love them. This year I bought a baby suri alpaca scarf in burgundy - the "hand" on this scarf is magnificent and the edging, beautiful. The texture of this scarf is so much richer and beautiful than even my Loro Piana cashmere scarves! Most important of all is that Sentaler customer service has always been friendly, professional, prompt and extremely helpful ... High Quality Luxury Products without the Snootiness.
The coat I purchased is gorgeous and the scarf was a nice surprise as they had a special promotion on the week I was at the showroom. The scarf arrived via FedEx and was beautifully packaged; this company knows how to present their merchandise. The staff at the showroom and via email were professional, helpful and friendly. All communication was answered promptly. This has been a great experience from start to finish. I will definitely be recommending Sentaler to friends and anyone who asks about my amazing coat and scarf.
I have recently purchased my first coat with Sentaler and surprisingly the coat fit too big at the back and waist. I have been communicating with Nina who has been very helpful and accommodating. Even though size small was sold out, the company was able to custom make my coat again even though the coat is no longer in production. I inquired if the waist could be made really small and since that wasn’t an option Nina suggested I come and get it custom tailored at Sentaler Toronto at no extra charge. I am so impressed at the whole customer service experience and would recommend your company to anyone. Can’t wait to get my new coat.
The quality of this coat and the price point is unrivalled against other designer brands. If anything this coat and brand is in a league of its own. This coat is understated elegance. The quality and lustre of the suri alpaca fabric is unequivocally breathtaking and like no other. It screams pure luxury and you look and feel a million dollars wearing it. Thank you to Nina in customer service who took the time to help me in particular sourcing the right size and advising of fabric care post purchase.
I received for Christmas the mid length shawl collar wrap coat and I love it! It’s a beautiful coat and excellent quality! I wear it almost everyday, especially living in Michigan winter weather. Thank you for the great quality coat!
