Seneca Hill Private School

Wow! I have trensferred my two daughters from a near by public school to Seneca Hill Private School in June of 2017. The girls spent the summer at the Seneca Hill Private School summer camp as well. What a wonderful experience for the girls and us as a family. Starting from the wonderful Founder and Director of the school Ms.Leila who is a treat to see every morning with her amazing personality and zest for excellence in the school, the amazing principal Mr. Nicholas Esper who is very friendly and always easy to approach with a smile on his face and always on top of things and of course the amazing teachers and administrative staff and their academic and professional support for the students and excellent communication with parents. The students get a hot lunch freshly prepared every day which is greatly appreciated by my daughters and myself as a parent. My daughters have blossomed academically in such a short period of time since the enrollment. I personally love the feel like "HOME" atmosphere with rules and expectatoins that are clearly stated in morning announcements. If you want your child to trive academically and socially Seneca Hill Private School is the place to be and grow. P.S. I love the Pledge that all the students say together every morning and the 110% No Bullying allowed policy. 👌

Seneca Hill is a school a lot of people, including myself, consider more like "home." The tight knit community has allowed me to get to know my colleagues, students and parents quite well and is part of the reason it's hard leave at the end of the day. Everyone is a friendly face! From my very first day as a teacher at this school, I was encouraged to dive right in and make my classroom my own (what most teachers can only dream of). The amount of growth and professional development is limitless at Seneca Hill. Our principal, Nicolas Esper, invests a lot of time and effort into his teaching staff (what other principal takes the time to train each staff member individually?) and this is something that is unlike anywhere else. He sets high standards for us to be the best version of ourselves and as a result this allows us to do the same for our students. I'm privileged to work alongside very talented teachers who care deeply about their students and work hard every day to create engaging and innovative classroom learning. We are an invested group and I can wholeheartedly say that my experience teaching at Seneca Hill has been like no other. It is truly the place for those who are adamant and passionate about being an exceptional educator committed to lifelong learning.

If you want your child to excel academically, be exposed to accelerated learning because of the smaller class sizes, then this is the private school you are looking for. My daughter has been a student since JK and she is now in Grade 3. She learned and memorized the multiplication tables (from 2 -12) when she was 5 years old. She was reading by Grade 1. This school year, a Robotics Professor joined the teaching staff. They have also implemented a fitness program where the kids wear a fitbit type bracelet so they are conscientious about their health and wellness. What I really like in addition to the academics is the before and after school program is included in the fees. Also, the school provides a hot lunch everyday! Just be informed that this is not a big, fancy school with sprawling grounds. Ms. Leila (Founder and Director) as well as Mr. Esper (Principal) are absolutely the nicest people including their staff. This is a very family oriented school environment and I believe this is one of their core competencies which sets the school apart from other private schools.

As a student here for over nine years, I can confidently say that this school has affected me tremendously in a positive way. The teachers really care for the students, unlike many other schools, and make sure that each student has a unique and individualized learning experience. Not only is the education amazing but they ensure that all students will leave the school as a better person than when they entered, developing good behavior and manners. I don't know where I'd be right now if it wasn't for the amazing effort and dedication that all staff at Seneca Hill Private School put into their students and will forever be thankful for the role they've played in sculpting me into the man I am today.

This school is the best place that has ever happened to my daughter. Enrolled in Sept 2015, from a TDSB local school; her level of reading has improved by 3 levels in just 3 months and her confidence has improved immensely. (Something that every parent wants.) Small class sizes and the ability to speak to a teacher at any time when I have concerns, is definitely a plus. Best of all the affordability in comparison to other Private schools is unbeatable, and I don't have to worry about additional daycare fees. All the teachers are very professional and and attentive to each child's needs. I actually love that the school is very close knit and extremely friendly to everyone. Because this was a life changing positive experience for my daughters education, I feel the importance to share my views! ☺️
