The food is fresh, authentic and tases great! The best Lebanese/Palestinian breakfast I've had in a long time. The owner serves you and seems it's a family business, which explains why it is so good and authentic.

Amazing food, cute decore and amazing staff! We were in ottawa for 4 days on a food tour and this place is the only place that we would come back to over and over again! There wasn't a single thing that we didn't like. All of the food is cooked to perfection! You HAVE to try this place on your stop to or from Ottawa!

Lovely Middle Easter breakfast and brunch spot! Really good quality food and tasty. Great coffee too! Somethings that could be better is the soujuk as didn’t have much taste and some of the food could use a bit more salt, and more attentive service - other than that, fantastic! One other thing, not a fan of the paper plates and plastic cutlery, but understand the need for it during pandemic times.

Firstly, the place is small so reserve before hand. We were seated fairly quickly when we arrived and were advised there’s a 1.5 hour limit. SemSem Coffee comes served with whip cream and sesame seeds. That was different but tasty. We ordered a variety of different dishes from Fattheh with Yogurt which was a large serving and tasty. The shakshuka was cooked to perfection I just wish there was more base. We also tried a meat dish which was my favourite. The fried halloumi cheese was what you expect. The beans with veggies is made in olive oil, it was rich in natural flavour. The service was good, they were busy even for a weekday so we had to wait a little. Overall, recommend checking out.

Wanted a light lunch and this place was just right. Great Friendly and helpful service. The food was really tasty and nicely presented. You can tell they care about their food and their customers. I'll be back again for sure.

If you are in the mood for a change to your usual brunch with a kick and loads of flavor, this is your spot. Grandmas breakfast was a big hit at the table. Their bread is to die , fresh, warm and fluffy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FOR ANYONE!!!

Lovely brunch got Grandmas breakfast and meat maqla! Love the variety and taste. Very filling and good portion. I recommend getting both and sharing. Very nice service as well, would come back.

Excellent flavours! We did takeout and the Cheese Sunflower is probably the best middle eastern pastry we’ve ever had and I’m middle eastern…I’ve had a lot The Zaatar Crust was also great when fresh, or, if you leave it for later, warming it up will restore its glory. Lovely staff; the lady came and chatted with us while waiting for our order, all smiles.

We have been to SemSem a few times and the recent time was good. I feel like the variety of dishes is less now after covid , but still a great selection of breakfast and brunch foods to choose from. We had a pretty wide variety of dishes. The service is good as well. We went at 2pm which is not as busy as it usually is around the morning rush. They seem to have really quality produce and products they use. All the food was made fresh.

This is an experience beyond this world. Food was excellent. It is absolutely superb. Everything was better than others. We were a large group and we ordered a number of dishes.
