Its an okay mall but they need to train their cleaning staff in how to speak to customers. Both men's washrooms were closed at the same time while womens washrooms were both still open it was near closing but not closed yet. Asked the Asian female cleaner if any men's washrooms were open and she immediately gave me attitude saying we are off in 2 minutes and we're cleaning both washrooms. Tried to explain to her that maybe they should wash one men's and one woman's washroom at the same time to keep one of each open but she accused me of having an attitude and refused to tell me which cleaning company she works for. This lady should not be working in a customer facing roles if she feels she can be rude because she's off work in 2 minutes.
Convenient mall with the basics covered. You’ve got a grocery store, pharmacy, a few clothing shops, and some food spots. Super easy to navigate and usually not too crowded. Great for quick errands or a chill walk indoors. That said, it’s not the most exciting mall around. Could use a few more dining options or trendy stores to liven things up a bit. Still a handy place to have nearby.
Such a shame that thete are no big name stores here. However, they are worth checking out if you are senior citizen.....nwith all kind respect folks.nThere's a play area for the kids, and they seem to utterly LOVE it!!! Always busy with kiddos playing :nWashrooms, I truely hate to say it was smelly which added to being unsanitary.nDid enjoy sitting in the food court for coffee and muffin, chatting with friendly folk.
This particular mall has plenty of shops from dentistry, food store, banks, food court, shoes stores, investors groups, drug store, gas station, fast food restaurants, dollar stores, and others.nnDuring the lockdown some business closed permanently, now the remaining business are trying to start again.nnThe mall administration have managed to bring larger department such as Winners, and Fitness World.nnPerhaps new business will follow.nnTheir operating hours:nnMonday to Saturdayn11:00 to 18:00 hours .nnSunday 12:00 to 17:00 hours.nnSome shops open from 11:00 to 16:00 as they struggle to continue.nnOne could think that opening longer hours will help to reestablish the economy, however there isn't enough capital to pay salary.nnVisit local business when considering a purchase or services.nnWheelchair accessible common areas and stores.nnWheelchair accessible parking near the entrance of the mall.nnThere is plenty of parking available all around the mall.
Stumbled upon Semiahmoo Shopping Centre last Saturday while exploring South Surrey and honestly wasn't expecting much from a suburban mall, but it ended up being a pretty solid afternoon. The natural light pouring through the skylights in the main atrium gives it a surprisingly pleasant vibe, way less gloomy than some of the bigger malls downtown. Grabbed a coffee and just wandered around for a couple hours, which is exactly the low-key weekend energy I needed. If you're in the area and want somewhere relaxed to browse without the chaos of a mega-mall, this is a good spot to add to your rotation.
