This Park is rustic and a very beautiful place. Great spot to view fire-works. Looking across Semiahmoo Bay is the Canadian City of White Rock (the city by the sea). Point Roberts is off in the distance toward the left. Further left are the CA Galiano Islands and the US San Juan Islands. I guess who cares and enjoy the closest scenery around, on this peninsula. Thanks .....

we just love walking our dog up here and what a nice place to get a bite, dine in style and/or get a spa treatment, while staying at a top notch hotel, with friendly low key service. Beautiful, a bit fancy, but not pretentious.

This is one of our favorite parks. There are paved trails (especially on the south side) but we usually walk the beach.
The south side has calm water and looks south over Drayton Harbor toward Mt. Baker.
The north side, though, is our favorite -- it looks toward Canada and out into the Salish Sea. High up it's fairly Sandy, nearer the water it's increasingly Rocky -- a geology buff's dream. The rocks are mostly smooth and it's fun to hunt for agates and other interesting stones; the variety is endless. Love exploring at low tide, too.
There's also a nice picnic area and plenty of grassy area to walk around if you don't feel like going on the beach. There are often bunnies around -- and sometimes bald eagles.
Oh and there's a cannery museum, as this used to be the site of large canneries. Worth a stop if you happen to be there during their limited weekend hours.
As you go east on the beach, it gets sandier. There's a restaurant at the Semiahmoo Hotel at the East end of the spit, but we usually go into the little shop at the marina to grab coffee and a snack and to look at their assortment of local gifts.

This park is great! It has BBQ pits, picnic tables, fire pits, bathrooms and fantastic beach access with amazing views on both sides of the road - one looking out into the Straights of Juan De Fuca and the other an unobstructed view of Mt. Baker! Oh, and it's also on the approximately one-mile trail that is a nice level path for walking, running or biking and goes to the Semiahmoo hotel property that has fine dining and a couple of docks for fishing, a sandy beach that's connected to one of the docks where people can jump about 10 to 15 feet depending on the tides.

Great park. Very scenic. Not much there but you've got the water!
