What a beautiful place for a long or short hike 😊

Amazing. To hike from the trail head to get to the Cove Lakes was uninteresting and did not look promising. After hours of "switchbacks," the trail climbed to the top of the ridge. At the top, the other side of the trail was revealed. It was like Dorothy stepping out of her black and white house into Munchkinland. Before the ridge it was dry and brown within lots of berries to eat, but the other side of the ridge was a sight to see!
