Unique place to go to.nIt is a round non-heated pool.nI'm not sure if it is chlorine treated or just really lightly.nThe centre is the deepest.nGreat for kids to go and enjoy some sand and wading pool.nHas a small splash pad too.nTrees all around that provide shade.nTables are to be booked in advance.nAlso, looked like they have a lot of lifeguards, which is good.
One of the best park around. Good parking spots all around. Along with the park is the greatest views water view, some boats and cruise.Nice and wide pool and great picnic spots. Gives beach feeling with little sand. There is spray pad too. I found lot of pool staff but later I realised they are there for reason. Staff look very hard working. At the end of the shift doing proper cleaning. I don't see it everywhere. Worth riding little out of city if you are not from selkirk. Price is reasonable for pool too.I recommended going there at least once.
Great place to take the family! It's a man made beach that's fenced in. There's a splash pad and a ring of sand around the pool. My 2 year old had a blast. You do have to pay to get in but I think it's a very reasonable price.
The beach was nice to sit on but the floor of the water/pool was very uncomfortable and the construction not well thought out. My friends and I could not stand in the water for more than 3-4 minutes. The bottom is made of large rocks and concrete stuck together. It would be more enjoyable if you brought water shoes, but we were expecting sand… We couldn’t access about 1/3 of the water as it was closed for lessons, but no lessons took place in the 3 hours we visited. Also, FYI you are required to pay for entrance daily per person even if you are camping. People from Selkirk can enter for free if they show proof of residency.
Great place . Concrete pool if you have tender feet wear water shoes they have a rock finish . Sand all around pool and a splash pad for young kids.
