One of the best park around. Good parking spots all around. Along with the park is the greatest views water view, some boats and cruise.Nice and wide pool and great picnic spots. Gives beach feeling with little sand. There is spray pad too. I found lot of pool staff but later I realised they are there for reason. Staff look very hard working. At the end of the shift doing proper cleaning. I don't see it everywhere. Worth riding little out of city if you are not from selkirk. Price is reasonable for pool too.I recommended going there at least once.
Very nice pool, water is warm and clear and clean! 4 stars because they don't allow you to bring in big tubes for floating. Only noodles and small boards for floating. The pool is huge, I think they should reconsider this soon :
The pool area is a great place to bring the kids on a warm Summers day. I recommend water shoes as the bottom of the pool can be painful to walk on in certain areas due to exposed aggregate. Due to the slow graduation in depth, the pool is safe for small children when properly supervised.
Selkirk pool has lots of staff. The water is clean and has filters as well as staff periodically cleaning things they find with nets. There is a concrete around the pool with sand surrounding it that has been nicely raked each time we’ve gone so it’s fairly clean!
You could probably call the swimming pool a small man made lake. Sandy beaches with trees for shade makes any sunny day enjoyable. Great for kids.
