Sehmi Japanese Restaurant

I have been going here for years. Nice little place, quiet, good food, and group rooms/booths if you have several guests and want to sit in a more traditional way. This is not fine dining, jeans and a sweater work, the food is good, and the servers are friendly. Have yet to be disappointed.

Interesting experience. We went in fairly close to closing. The waiter was friendly but not the most attentive. The staff were sitting at a table near the front eating KFC. The food came out in good time, the price was okay. Having said that, I probably wouldn't go back.

Used to be a good place to eat.. came for lunch didnt get any plates.. ordered prawn tempura got yam tempura when we told the lady she said u ordered yam she did refund jt but wouldn't be coming back due to lack of service I wanted to order more stuff there was no one to place an order with.. lost my business.

Consistently delicious, sockeye and tuna rolls, sashimi with shrimp dumplings.

This place is a total gem. An awesome experience. The food is right on point. One of the best green teas I have tasted. I wished I had taken pictures. I will certainly go back. To the owners/ operators, thank-you so much for a fantastic afternoon!

The sushi was very good here. The crunch roll was warm and came with a sweet type of sauce. We were also given complimentary miso soup. The only downside is the ambience. Inside looks quite deadbeat as we were the only ones there. More could be done to make the interior pleasant. Other than that sushi was good.

Great place for Sushi in Abbotsford! Been going for years. Always consistently one of the best!

Ordered for delivery. Called to confirm order with gentleman on the phone. Items were forgotten. Called to get it corrected and they refused to deliver it out. " Pick up or pay for another delivery fee". We didn't make the error. They did. Poor customer service.

Unagi under-done and unappetising, sashimi definitely not fresh. The rolls were made too small but cost more than they do at other places. I paid $70 for a dinner for myself and my friends and part of it was flat out inedible. The people are nice but that is not enough to ever bring me back.
