Quick, friendly service & tasty food. Rolls are good size, fish is fresh, great value for price. Also are amazing at accommodating a Ciliac family member, haven't had a gluten flare up from here ever 7 yrs.
Warm comfortable seating are provided in this small venue. The sushi is very good. Prices are fair considering the portion sizes are above average. Service was adequate but could be improved.
Always very friendly and quick! The quality of the food is always high, and they have the best dynamite cone you will ever eat!!
I just love this hole in the wall Sushi spot! Definetely the best in town hands down! Great rolls for cheap price and the portion is more than what you pay for
One of our favorite Japanese restaurants in town. The quality of the food is always high and I really enjoy the different creations of rolls they have, especially the mango sunshine roll!
One of my favourite Sushi spots in Abby! I recommend the Beef Yakisoba. Service is always so fast, kind, and if you want to dine in they are very clean!Food: 5/5
I have had many good experiences with this Sushi restaurant but after what happened just now I will not be supporting them again. I ordered the salmon/tuna combo and walked there to pick it up. When I got home and opened it up I noticed the albacore Tuna in the roll was a black blue colour, see photos. Compare it to the Nigiri Tuna which is the typical colour of albacore tuna and you will see a vast difference. I was concerned and called the restaurant hoping they would be able to assure me it was safe to eat and offer some type of reasonable explanation. After a short chat with a pleasant girl who could not offer any explanation I decided to run it back to the restaurant to exchange the tuna roll for one with tuna that was not a blueish colour. I brought my take out box up to the cashier area where a man was standing and proceeded to open the box and show him the tuna. I was very polite and very respectful, I just wanted to show them what I was talking about. This man started to argue with me, telling me it was fine and pointing to the back of his neck, saying it was from a different part of the fish. He kept saying its the same. Clearly it is not the same as the tuna on the nigiri. My guess is they are cutting the bloodline off the fillet and using it in the Tuna combo's. He was not being very helpful or receptive at all and finally I pointed to the Nigiri and asked him, "could I get a Tuna roll with Tuna that colour int it?" He replied " NO". I was completely taken by surprise and just stood there stunned for a second. I was the only customer in the room and all of the 6 or 7 staff including the Chefs were watching and listening. I finally spoke and said "you are joking right?" Unfortunately he wasn't joking. I then opened the box again to point out the huge difference in the 2 cuts and he started laughing at me. By now I was pretty annoyed and asked him "why are you laughing?" 'Is this funny to you?" I then asked him if he was the owner and he replied YES! I then asked him why he was being so disrespectful and rude to me the customer when I have been nothing but respectful to him while trying to support his business. At that point he kind of changed his tune and begrudgingly gave me a new tuna roll. He half heartedly apologized as he threw it down on top of my box. At that point I just left quietly, a very unhappy customer who felt insulted and ridiculed while trying to support local small business. John Garrett
Oyako don was good, but pricey! It was $18 and not even a super huge portion. But service was lovely so I might be coming back.
Absolutely delicious.... Clean ... Quick and Friendly staff...photo bellow ..sorry it's not full lol I forgot to snap the pic before we dug in
Worst spicy salmon roll I have ever had. It tasted like some kind of canned fish. I thought it might of just been a different way of doing it but I also had salmon nigiri and the colour and taste were both off.
