Seekers is wonderful! A distinguishing feature is their collection of books on the occult, spirituality, Wiccanism, etc. However, they also have pretty much any other genre you could want, with plenty of unique finds mixed in with the standard fare of the average bookstore. The prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is pleasant and anytime I go to quickly pick up a book I inevitably spend at least 45 mins perusing. The owners really are very sweet and interesting to talk to. Perhaps most importantly, though, a distinguished neighbourhood cat has of late decided to grace Seekers with his presence. They've named him Churchill and he rules (literally and figuratively)

Excellent selection of new and used books, great atmosphere complete with friendly, knowledgeable staff and an affectionate cat. Very affordable prices.

A great collection . For that they'll get 2 stars from me. Other than that, I was completely cheated the other day. To summarize the experience - I ended up paying more for a newer edition book (when I was told it was a first editon) and when I confronted the worker, he gave me some roundabout story to justify his pricing. Im super bad with confrontation so I just left. But I legitimately feel like crying when I think about this, just because I feel like I was completely taken advantage of.

Would recommend, it is a small little book store with a large variety stuff is kind and can help you locate whatever you need (I purchased negotiating for dummies here at a really reasonable price at $10 where the standard retail price is over $25)

Good little spot to find odd and uncommon books. They also have a cool cat named Churchill
